Clean, nice room.

The check-in took a long time, because it was done by the staff at the diner who were serving people at the same time, so we had to wait long. After the long wait the lady did not say sorry, she was very rude, she told us about the rules of the place as if we were at a military base. No smile, strictness. In a way it was kind of funny, we did not take it seriously, but it was strange not to get a welcoming smile in the USA. :-) The lady at the checkout was the opposite, I have to mention that.

Great staff. And House keeper. Dena. Very friendly lady and hard worker. Keeps the Hotel in ship shape.

One small problem. You advertised a King room with 2 beds. King rooms have only one bed. Queen rooms 2 beds. The hotel was really good and gave us a room with 2 beds. But you should definitely check with them in the future and see what they have to offer and get it advertised correctly. 😃

Cook was fun to visit with and entertaining. The coffee was the better part. loved the diner atmosphere.

Breakfast was horrible. Undercooked food and very greasy. Cook had to wear too many hats. It took forever because she was alone to manage hotel and food orders, and till, etc. Our room reeked with Pot smell. Didn't like the check in at the Diner. Too haeotic. Hotel needs a front desk.

A perfect location for a stopover between the Bay Area and Oregon. The rooms and hallways were super-clean with a pretty view of the trees and hillside from the window. The place was quiet and restful. We will definitely come here again.

Wish a simple breakfast could have either been included or available for a decent price. However, the coffee provided in the room was not bad, much better than the usual.

Convenient location.

The green carpet scared me a little. I just don't think it can be super cleaned by vacuuming between clients. But for the price of room, it's fine. I wear socks or slippers so minimize contact. Check in at diner was quick but the lady might have been overworked. The food was really just ok. The microwave timer is off. I set for 2mins it went on for 6mins and still didn't stop. Be careful.

This Travel Lodge is truly "A Hidden Gem!" It has a great location! And provides Fabulous scenic views of the mountain ridges even from my window! Wonderful staff! Excellent service! Very clean and quiet! A wonderful place to vacation from or to retreat from the chaos of the world!

There was nothing to dislike!

This location is quite a gem. The diner and hotel are a package deal you have to try. 24 hour food availability makes this one of my best stays yet. The rooms were also nice. The view was... (Chef's kiss).

Hire more people to help around the property. Holding down a diner and a hotel is hard work!

Good place to stay when traveling if your just looking for a comfortable clean place to stay. No frills but good price for what you get. right off the freeway which is a plus.

We loved Penny’s restaurant and how comfortable the room was. It is so beautiful! We got engaged here in March 2021 by the waterfall. We love this place.

I wish they didn’t charge $20.00 a dog. We have two so they charged us $30.00. It makes the room not as good of a deal.

Straight forward motel experience. Friendly greeting from staff. I came in after midnight and checked in by way of this very cool diner. Don't pass up the chance to fill up your water jugs from the tap! Dunsmuir has some of the best water in the world.
