Lovely big room with parking outside. Separate living area, fridge with freezer and microwave. Room quite quiet despite being on the main road into the town. Welcome glass of wine each evening between 5 and 6. Breakfast was different-waffle, hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit (and yoghurt when we asked) and toast. We took our own cereal and ate in the breakfast room. Coffee and tea also available. We walked into town for a meal each evening which took about 20 minutes. We had a discount for the restaurant across the road which is part of another motel also owned by the same people.

No guest laundry on site but we used the laundrette just down the road which was very successful. Unusual choice of items at breakfast. Air conditioning was a little noisy but we didn’t have it on at night.

The property consists of an older main building and a seperate set of rooms with parking for each room outside the room front door. The property is fronted by a large lawn area under mature trees. There are chairs and tables on the lawn that give a very relaxed feeling to sitting out. At 5pm, the hostess provides a complimentary glass of red or white wine. The rooms was very comfortable with a king bed and a writing desk. The property is located an easy 10 minute walk into town but there are also nice restaurants next door on the same street. Location is great for looking around the Mt. Shasta area.

Carpets in the room! I wish hotels would install laminate - it's got to be easier to clean.

I was traveling alone and felt very safe there. The room was large and clean. Nice you can park in an assigned parking spot right outside your room. Breakfast is offered in the morning but I did not attend. This location is close to downtown.

The tv did not have good reception. every channel was fuzzy. When I came in to register, the woman behind the counter was having a conversation with I think the woman that does maintenance in the rooms and they did not stop talking or acknowledge me when I came in. They continued talking while I just made myself comfortable until they were done. Awkward for a new person coming in to that property to say the least. Ice machine didn't work.

This is a lovely place to stay. I was on a long UHaul trip from Phoenix, Arizona to Portland, Oregon by myself and chose this stopover. They arranged for me to have the room at the end (Room 17) and the parking was a piece of cake. The front desk closed at 8:00 and they called to be sure I would be here before they closed so they could help me check in. Both the evening check-in young lady and the morning breakfast lady were delightful. I loved the walk into town and to the Meadow in town where I could see Mt. Shasta. A perfectly lovely, safe place to stay!

Nothing. I could hear the neighbors talking a bit in the early evening, but once they went to sleep I could hear nothing. If you are tired, the TV works perfectly to block out the sounds from neighbors. A lovely experience.

Cute, cosy Inn with very friendly and helpful staff. The receptionist gave us lots of information about where to eat ( since many restaurants in town. are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays), and even called her husband, a firefighter, to find out more about a wildfire we had seen driving down. The homemade waffle breakfast was a special treat. We ate dinner at the restaurant across the street, possibly owned by the same people and it was excellent. Close drive to the scenic drive up Mt.Shasta.

The walls are thin, we could clearly hear our neighbors on either side talking at night( but everyone quieted down before 10)

Wonderful place to stay! Charming ambiance on the property with all the flowers! Delightful breakfast in the big house with a freshly made waffle and fresh fruit, a hard boiled egg, and coffee.

I was slightly disappointed that two cars were parked in front of my room so I had to park a few cars over, but this was a minor inconvenience. My main concern was the step up to the bathroom area, as I was worried about tripping even though it was well marked.

We stayed twice in a week, coming and going from a trip. It was very hot but the window AC was adequate, if noisy. The grounds are very beautiful and interesting and the motel is on a quiet street. We had a great meal in the Mexican restaurant next door. The bed was comfortable.

The motel is very old and the furniture and layout could best be described as "vintage". There are very few plugs and we definitely had to improvise to set things up the way we like them. In our first room, there was some wiring that was definitely not up to code.

Front Desk staff (Kim) very friendly, clean, easy to find, good parking, our room was off the road, could hear a train at night but it wasn't too loud, comfortable queen bed, cute little restaurant right across the street.

Breakfast was a bonus, but would have been nice if there were plant milk options for coffee & oatmeal. Upon check-out we returned the card-keys and asked for a printed receipt; the front desk staff (who also cooked and served breakfast earlier) made us feel like asking for the receipt was a pain.

We stayed here one night on a pitstop during our summer roadtrip. This is an adorable inn that has the convenience of a motel (easily accessible from the road) but the unique feel of a quant bed and breakfast. The rooms was well appointed and comfortable. Great location, walkable to local restaurants and friendly staff. Love that it’s pet friendly too.

Shower pressure was not great

Very cute and lovely hotel, which is unique compared to other similar hotels in the area. The location is great, only 20 minutes drive to Mt. Shasta, and close to coffee shops, restaurants, and markets. Breakfast mixed-berries waffle is great.

Breakfast choice is limited. The waffle is good, but you may not want to have it every day.
