Hyatt Place Los Angeles / LAX / El Segundo

The lobby very welcoming. The pool, the spa very cleaned. Had so much fun with my family. We enjoyed the gym a lot. Room was clean and modern. Bed and sheets were clean and comfortable. Sofa was good too. Basic continental breakfast. Wish could give eggs 🥚 more often. Besides that we enjoyed breakfast with family. Property is well maintained. Front desk ladies super nice and helpful.

We had to pay for parking overnight. I did not know this and I was not very happy. $18 per night.

The property was nice but as far the spectacular view and paying for a high floor its not worth it. Its only 5 floors. There isn’t a deposit of like $100 the deposit is a nightly fee of $50 and if your on budget that something that should be in big bold letters for people to know before they arrive.

You have to use your key to get in the hotel front door after a certain time. The $50 a night incidental fee and you have to make a reservation for the pool. The pool closes at 7pm so we never used the pool.

Most staff were all smiles and gave warm greetings to customers. They were helpful and friendly especially Derek who was very accommodating to our queries and needs. Kitchen lady provided great service. Breakfast was good, more variation would have been great, and fruit salad not the best. Could do a bit more seating for families. Very close to airport. Shuttle service to and from airport very handy. Room clean, housekeeping great.

Laundry not flexible with payment, machine needed quarters which hotel couldn't provide when we needed them. Had to request for detergent to be ordered. A bit of distance to shops and dining (17 min walk). Easy to get Uber though.

Approx less than 10min from LAX. Breakfast was good. Nice little equipped gym. Laundry room was convenient. $1.50 for one pod was quite pricey. Security on site. Parking lot was secure. Perfect spot for a day layover or even 2 days. Close to freeways.

The room we stayed had an adjoining room door. The walls are pretty thin so its easy to hear the people next door. I was on a zoom meeting at 10am and the people next door kept saying "ssshhhhh" which was rude.

Very nice modern hotel, big room with 2 queens and a sofa bed were perfect for us. Loved that the floors were hard wood and not carpet so it felt clean. The bathroom was average for a 3 star hotel, if they renovated the bathrooms this would be a 4 star hotel. The complimentary breakfast was great, lots of options.

I arrived early at 1pm and put my name down on a "queue" to be notified when my room was ready, but was never notified. So I went back at 3pm when check-in is, and my room was still not even ready. The pool was also freezing cold, so it was unusable.

Hotel was in a safe area which is super important. It's such beautiful hotel located in an industrial area but close to other areas which was great. The hotel was decorated nicely. The pool area was nice. Breakfast had a lot of options. The potatoes were delicious at breakfast and the bacon was delicious.

I don't like paying extra for parking. I didn't like the dishes at breakfast some of the dishes were not that clean. Breakfast area is not that big. The shower area racks had some rust they should definitely take care of that. I asked for new sheets and they forgot to come to my room but overall the hotel stay was great.

Great rooms, a lot of space, included a lounge area. Very friendly staff, especially at the front desk. I loved the fitness room and the pool. Really great experience for just one night stay between two flights. There are a few options for dinner at the hotel ans in the surroundings.

We had to ask again for the baby bed, eventough we did request it through booking (but maybe wasn't passed through). Also the shuttle from the airport to the hotel was complicated to organise (no information given, we then had to call several numbers, which was quite expensive having no US phone) and the one back to the airport from the hotel was at least 30 min late.

Breakfast was great, I was able to get yogurt with fresh berry jam, and also some scrambled eggs. The coffee was good. The shower in my room was large and comfortable, so I could wash my hair and get clean after my flight.

I paid a higher rate for a high location King room, thinking that I would have a view, but my room was directly in front of the parking lot roof deck, so I had to close my window shades all the time so the people in the cars couldn't look in my room. To pay more for a good view is okay, but for me to pay more and be forced to close all my shades all the time is not okay. There should be a warning and a discount on the rooms with only a view of a concrete wall, or the drivers in the parking garage.

Close to LAX. The king bed was comfy and the room big enough for our 2 night stopover! The reception and bar area was very small but ok. We enjoyed the Breakfast that was included, especially for the room price compared to other hotels in LAX area with no breakfast. The pool area was ok, surrounded by buildings but you are in a business district. I didn’t use it but noticed they had a guest laundry which could be useful!

Dining options very limited. The night we arrived, we went down to get a meal about 7:30pm. There was only cheesecake left on offer!

I love the breakfast the friendly staffs! I really enjoyed my stay so so much. Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience
