Los Angeles Airport Marriott

The pool was great and heated perfectly. There is also a self service laundry which was great to use before heading home so I had less washing to do on my return. The rooms were nice and clean and a decent size. No airport noise which was great. The free shuttle to the airport was super convenient. Great way to finish our 4 week trip through the USA.

The internet is supposed to be free if you're a bonvoy member. But we were still charged $15 per day. I didn't realise until I got the invoice in my inbox after checking out. I tried to contact them about it. There is no email address I could find and I was on hold for 20mins on the phone before giving up.

The location, restaurant, pool and whirlpool.

No microwave in the room, no hooks in the bathroom, double beds and paying to park.

Just no free breakfast

Room was good, and the bed was comfortable. The bed side lights are on a sensor and timer, which I found great, if you fall asleep with the lights on. But waking up in the middle of the night and getting out of bed, activates the sensors and turns the lights on, almost in a blinding manner. But not a minus for me. However, I woke up with bites on my legs, and I mentioned it at check out, purely for awareness and for the next guests. A supervisor was called straight away and apologies were presented as well as a % removed from the room cost. This was unexpected, but appreciated.

The room was very clean and modern. My view was pretty decent, our room was on the upper levels. I would definitely stay here next time if the occasion happens a bit pricey tho but its worth it.. We stayed for 1 night for a concert, it was my first time staying at a Marriot property. Staff was friendly and they have a snack area next to their reception so that was nice and it was open when we got back from the show around 12am.

I dont have complaints for this location, our view from the room was the parking lot and the hotel next door but thats just luck depending the room you get, we didnt spend much time in the room sooo it wasnt that important. The parking fee did catch me off guard but again it was my first time staying at a Marriot property

Easy access from LAX using the hotels courtesy bus,... This was especially important following an eleven hour transatlantic flight and the inevitable queues at LAX Border Control. I chose this hotel because of it's close proximity to our preferred car hire service which we walked to next morning. Check-in was really fast and free of any issues. When you've been travelling for 17 hours, all you really want is a quiet room with a good bed,... The Marriott did a great job providing this. Next morning, we had breakfast in the hotel and we found a great, healthy choice of fruits and cereals.... and some deliciously un-healthy pancakes,... The range of food was excellent and the staff were fully attentive. If there had been more time I'd have used the pool,... It was large, warm and a more than just a square hole with water in it..... Sadly we only had one night. On check-out, when the concierge heard that we were collecting a hire car he told us that we could leave our luggage in their locked storeroom at reception and collect it once we had the car,.... We were grateful for this as the temperature was rising rapidly when we left.

This is a great hotel,.. and we'll happily use it for our next trip.... Next time I'll plan an earlier flight to get use of the full range of facilities.

We needed to stay one night before we left LA and the location is perfect it’s super close to LAX and they offer a free shuttle that runs 24 hours which is so convenient. Prices are comparable to some of the other hotels close by and the reviews on this property were really good and I would say pretty much true. I liked that there was actually a real Starbucks located inside the hotel ( not one of those they just sell Starbucks coffee ) and there are two different types of restaurants which offer a variety of choices so you don’t really need to leave the hotel. The pool is really nice, good size with plenty of chairs to just chill and relax which is a nice added touch. Rooms are styled nicely and seem to be well maintained. Even though it’s close to LAX is was actually really quiet we never heard the planes and we slept soundly. Next time we’re in LA we will definitely stay again.

Nothing really

Airport hotel with regular shuttle service to the terminal. Has a nice pool and the room we had was spacious. Very happy with the late check-out also which allowed us to relax while we waited for the long flight home. Hotel has its own Starbucks, a nice social bar and reasonably priced breakfast and pub meals.

The hotel shuttle service and the stops are not clearly marked at the airport terminal and it is very confusing for people such as us arriving from overseas. We had to ask locals. Clearer signposting for hotel shuttles is needed.

It was clean and comfortable.

We were there for 4 days and they put a group of noisy guests next to our room partying at 4am 2 nights in a row...we had to call the front desk numerous times before they did anything about it and it woke us up both nights. This was a major issue for me seeing how I had paid for numerous nights and the guests were overnight parties. We should have been in a different area. We wanted privacy and to relax.

The hotel seems severely understaffed, both at reception (constant queues), and in the lobby bar/restaurant - dinner took well over half an hour to arrive, and drinks were not much faster. The beer was stale, and the food was rather poor. For some reason the toilet is in the middle of the bathroom, so you can't really stand in front of the sink - don't know who thought of that. Shuttle bus to airport should definitely be running more frequently than 2-3 times an hour, especialy in the morning rush, and should be served by a vehicle with sufficient luggage space, which was not the case.
