Kenwood Inn & Spa

The entire property was sooo beautiful. Truly stunning, evening in the cold and rain. I’m always obsessed with how the fireplace was on when we arrived in our room!

The staff was a little weird. They didn’t explain a lot of things so we ended up having to call and ask a couple of questions. Also, we ordered dinner from an outside to place to be eaten in our room and I called asking if someone could bring us cutlery. The person working at the front desk told us we could come down to get it. I was pretty annoyed by this because it was rather cold and raining very hard, and I was in my pajamas and bathrobe already so I had to redress myself to get the cutlery in the lobby. Just felt like a very petty thing for them to have guests work around what was convenient for them rather than the other way around.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful: - The rooms are spacious and clean, and the fireplace was stunning. - The pool area is relaxed and private. - The hot tub area is lovely, we used this in the evenings as it was wonderful. - The staff were kind, polite and very helpful. - The breakfast was perfect, different hot options available daily and a variety of fruits and lovely juices. - The arrival glass of Prosecco was a nice treat and the complimentary cookies available at reception were delicious.

We only had two negative points for this property: - The first being that there's no transportation options, no taxi's available in the area and the hotel did not provide a transport facility. I believe the hotel should look into this as I think it would enable more people to stay at the hotel. - The second was that there's no restaurant for lunch or dinner; it was difficult in the evenings to be able to go and get food from elsewhere because there was no restaurant at hotel and no taxis'.

An absolutely beautiful property. The gardens, which are all around, are stunning creating a peaceful ambiance and romantic setting. In addition to the lovely grounds our view from room balcony was the mountainous vineyards of Kunde Winery. Beautiful for outdoor sitting, gathering and strolling. Our room was great, large, quiet, beautifully decorated, super comfortable bed with fireplace and large screen TV on the wall. A favorite spot was the balcony.

There really wasn’t a dislike. If someone is looking for a contemporary property with elevators, and walking distance to night life activities, this might be less attractive.

The property is breathtaking. At check-in you are brought on a tour of the inn…once you enter the courtyard area, you step into an area of a magic subtropical experience. Everything about the space lures you in to come and relax. The rooms are incredibly romantic with fireplaces to create an inviting ambiance.

While the inn’s room design has been well thought out, the entirety of each room has concrete flooring with no area rugs. Bring slippers or sandals with you because the floor in extremely cold and harsh to walk around on.

The upgraded rooms are nice

The noise level in the breakfast area is an awful way to start the day. Not only is loud music playing during the breakfast service 730-930, but the area is very noisy due to poor sound mitigation. There needs to be some acoustic baffles installed to reduce the echoing.

Beautiful, stunning property with everything you could ask for. Stayed for the honeymoon night and didn't want to leave. the staff were more than accommodating for every need, even when there was a "finicky" person in the room below me.

the stereotypical "Karen" in the room below that apparently couldn't sleep with someone walking above her in socks.

The property views from the road and internally are beautiful. There is a pool, and separate warming pool, a courtyard with a water fountain. Inside, you feel like you are in an older part of Italy. The room is where the hotel separated itself from the other two places we stayed near Napa. The room had a front porch that we could sit on and a back balcony. There was ambiance music playing when we entered, they had L’Occitane bath products for use and the bed was the most comfortable from all of our stays. Sonoma vineyards are a couple to a few miles up or down the road, which helped our commutes. We would definitely go back!

The only drawback, which was less about the place and more about location for food. The restaurant options are not immense. First night we drove 20 min to Santa Rosa to eat at Bird and Bottle, which I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful property that reminds of a villa in Italy. Loved the heated pool and the fact that it's open 24 hours. Also enjoyed our welcome drink, happy hour, and breakfast. Have stayed twice and we'll definitely be back.

Such a late check in but I guess that's most hotels now.

there was never a concierge available to assist us in our planning during our stay- and we tried back multiple times

- Great location close to many wineries - Great outdoor heated pools - Superb room - Complementary Wine & Cheese every night

- No real walking spots at the property itself - No gym - No on-site restaurant - Breakfast was very average compared to the level of the hotel
