Super 8 by Wyndham Lindsay Olive Tree

This place is awesome! I stopped between my trip to Sequoia National Park. I would strongly recommend my stay. The heat was the only bad thing I could say about the place. But they have no control of that. This place exceeded my expectations. My family felt safe and happy compared to my Sea Garden Motel at Pismo Beach. This place knocks that place out of the park. All good things to say about this place. I got my moneys worth here. I strongly recommend staying here if your traveling between trips to all the National parks like I was. The breakfast was a bonus to me. The rooms were so clean and well taken care of. Pat on the back to the persons who keep this place clean. If I met the lady that cleaned the rooms. I would have given her a good tip. Great place. Good job 👏

I liked everything here. I couldn’t find a vending machine to buy water. That’s about all. But that’s my fault because it was too hot to walk around and find one. Not a complaint though.

Amazing value for the price, we didn’t have high expectations after reading some of the reviews but we were very pleasantly surprised in the end. The hotel had everything we needed, you obviously can’t expect 5 star accommodation but for the price it was amazing value. Stuff was nice and helpful, plenty of parking spaces, clean rooms, clean pool, BBQ area etc. Great location when going to Sequoia NP, the travel time is a bit longer but otherwise ideal for that. Groceries and fast food chains nearby too.

The only thing to potentially improve on is to buy more washing machines and dryers as there was only one set and almost everyone in the hotel wanted to use it.

If you plan to visit the Sequoia National Park, this hotel is one of the closest - an hour drive. Good standard of rooms as for the price, and they have a pool open till 10 pm. Just opposite the hotel is a shopping mall and a number of restaurants so you have everything nearby. Would come there again.

Breakfast selection is poor, mostly bread + butter or jam (one or two flavours), and some muffins. This could definitely be improved.

We loved our connected clean and big rooms. There was extra blankets to keep us warm.

The motel is relatively basic, but it has been recently updated. Everything was really nice and clean. The rooms (and we had 2) were exceptionally clean and comfortable. I loved the huge photographs (taken in the area) in place of the headboards. The rooms felt fresh and contemporary. The pictures on the web were reflective of the facility before the remodel. We enjoyed our brief stay. For an overnight "drop your bones on a mattress before you do more travelling"- it strongly exceeded my expectations. The value was decent.

One of our rooms had an odd smell, but not sure if one of them was a smoking room. The fast food plaza was a minute away. Location is right off the freeway, but is perfect if you need to get back on the road. The breakfast was super basic and consisted of coffee, packed Danishes and apples. We elected to have breakfast elsewhere, but in a pinch it would do.

Super clean, comfy bed and pillows. We had a quiet night and slept live babies. Plus points for having microwave, mini fridge, complementary parking and continental breakfast! We didn't use pool due to a short stay, but their area with bbqs was very welcoming and well maintained.

Parking lot was open, so I initially felt a bit unsafe, but luckily it was a chilled town and all was safe even with parking lot wide open.

everything was super nice! the bed was huge and comfortable and the room was super clean. the staff were friendly and very helpful!

we stayed for two nights but no one came to make the bed or replace or towels which we did spend most of the time in our room i kind of expected a knock on the door or something but i have no problem making my own bed lol but we did have to end up asking for new towels

Nice and strategic location if you are planning a day trip to Sequoia National Park. Spacious and clean room. Friendly staff that gave us the chance to check in at midnight. Breakfast included is a nice plus, considering that the majority of the places in the US do not offer it. It is a basic one, with not a small variety of foods/drinks however I do appreciate it.

The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely bathroom split with a very convenient mirror. A/C was phenomenal (temperatures were over 40ºC) and allowed us to rest properly. Parking was great. There was a bbq area that we didn't use but looked very useful.

The sofa in the room witnessed better days, so we avoided to use it. The road access to the hotel was a bit tricky. A bit unsafe as it was directly from the motorway. Nothing to blame on the hotel though.
