Casa Ojai Inn

I was hesitant to book at he beginning, but to our surprise, the inn is clean, comfortable bed, perfect location. We had one queen bed room because i waited till the end to booked, but the room is just enough to accommodate 4 of us (+ 2 fur babies). I did not smell any bad even at the patio considering it’s pet friendly and I am very picky when it comes to sense of smell.Thank you for keeping it clean, definitely we will book again for our next trip.

No microwave but it is not necessary because we eat out and ordered to go food during our stay, but I would think the bigger room with kitchen do have microwave. I just need to reheat my coffee that I bought but it’s not a big deal.

THE ROOM WAS SPACIOUS AND CLEAN WITH PLENTY OF DRAWER AND CLOSET SPACE. Beds were comfortable. Extra fleece blanket provided. Although we didn't use it, the pool and hot tub looked good and seemed to get a lot of use.

Although the hotel had no control, there were dogs next door that barked for hours at night, making it difficult to sleep. Staff could have been more friendly. Steep, narrow stairs to the second floor with no elevator for hauling luggage.

I LOVED my stay at Casa Ojai. The location is beautiful. It is 5 mins drive / 20 mins walk from the center of town. The pool hot/tub is quiet, clean and fun. There are some comfy deck chairs. The rooms are spacious and have nice outdoor sitting areas. The staff was super friendly and helpful. BEST is the free bike rental - my favorite part of my trip was cycling around town early in the morning. It was really special. I didn't want to leave! Nice snacks and free water bottles included in room. Free coffee, tea, and hot cocoa.

The bathroom decor isn't updated, but this was not a major issue. (The shower was still great :) One of the room light switches didn't work properly, but I was only there for one night, so I didn't even bother addressing this. There were plenty of lamps anyway. Since breakfast is not included, perhaps they could provide some more free snacks to customers - granola bars, yogurts, etc.

Photos of Casa Ojai on the booking service websites do not begin to do the place justice. The central parking lot is bordered by lovely flowering trees, and the pool enclosure provides a great, shaded oasis in which to read and relax. The rooms are comfortable and quiet, and the downstairs rooms have private patios under those flowering trees. The motel is at the far end of town, so it is quiet and peaceful, and a short walk from at least one very good restaurant. The front desk staff are very helpful and well-informed. Ojai is welcoming, full of great food and wine, and set in a stunning valley.

Breakfast was not provided due to COVID, and housekeeping services were not available. If you have heavy suitcases, I would strongly recommend getting a room on the ground floor!

Beautiful facility. Quiet at night. Location is not far from all the action of the little town area of Ojai. Keurig coffee maker in room.

There was no lobby, no staff, "touchless checkin!" Now that COVID has abated, please bring back the lobby! We had no one to complain to when the wi-fi would not work at night. What is with the $10 nightly extra charge (for bottled water, wifi and parking?!) This is ridiculous! What I don't like about COVID-friendly business models is that you get less but pay more! Bring the humans back to the lobby and stop charging hidden fees!

It is basically a motel. No breakfast due to covid as expected. Small Pool was open. Coffee , water, small snacks in room. Extra as needed upon request. Friendly staff.

Requested room on top floor due to potential for noise from above but hotel would not accomodate. Sure enough the person upstairs decides they can noisily exercise and move furniture around and woke us both mornings very early! Otherwise room was away from street at back of hotel and quiet. Room could have been cleaner snd was a bit dated. Stains on chair fabric. Bottom sheet on one bed of the 2 beds was pilly and stained. Bathroom just ok.

my stay here was exceptional. Traveling solo with my dog to hike and meditate in this beautiful area. The market is a five minute drive away with healthy options. Meditation mount is 10 minutes away with amazing offerings. And the Pratt trail offerings are only 10 minutes away as well. Double queen with a patio was great for sitting in the sun and reading. And the front desk help was friendly and helpful. Will definitely come back.

It was walking distance to restaurants. Under 1 mile to the center of town. The bed was comfortable. There was a Keurig machine in the room. Although We didn't use them, they had bicycles available for the guests to use.

No breakfast served. They charge a $10 per night fee for additional items like parking, 2 bottles of water and 2 little bags of nuts,sanitizing the room and bike usage. Since they don't clean while you're there, I think that the extra fee is unjustified. Most motels don't charge for Parking anyway. It's great if you're going to use the bikes. If your room is near the front of the building you'll hear cars on the road.

Really friendly staff. I loved the texting service, super convenient! The room was clean, large, and comfortable. The pool is very nice and has long hours, so definitely check that out. Wifi was fast and the cable tv was easy to use with lots of channels. This was a relaxing, no-stress place to stay.

It is a little bit out of the downtown area. We used our car for going back and forth.

Casa Ojai Inn is conveniently located a short drive (or long walk) from the center of town. It has a nice little swimming pool and offers free use of bicycles. The room was clean and comfortable.

There was no elevator, and it was tough for us to carry our bags up the flight of stairs. Otherwise, everything was fine.
