Hampton Inn Sacramento/Rancho Cordova

We liked everything in this hotel. The staff is very friendly, professional, and helpful. The room was the quite, clean, and big in size, with very comfortable beds and soft sheets. The cosmetics in the bathroom are good quality and not limited to small-size bottles. The TV has a lot of channels. The breakfast is included and the food is really good and is satisfying any taste (omelets, sausages, bacon, yogurts, oatmeal, waffles, pancakes, jams, juices, hot chocolate, toasts, and many sorts of bread, and more)👍🏻 😋 👌🏻 ☺️ The restaurant is nice and cozy, with pretty design. The best part is the inside swimming pool with warm water. We loved it! ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ Very good size, and CLEAN! We're really happy to discover this hotel! We'll be back! Thank you!

Total lack of enforcement of the masking requirement in lobby/at front desk. I realize you don't want the staff to be your mask police, but one incident really bothered me. Two airline pilots were checking in - neither wore masks. I asked them why, and one told me he didn't "believe" in the virus being transmitted and it was his choice. Oh, I got the airline, their name badges (dumb) and will be in touch with their employer. For a smoke free facility, our corridor (third floor) reeked of marijuana smoke the entire stay (four nights). I know it's legal, and I don't care about that, but smoke is smoke!

Everything was in need of refurbishing, but not terrible. The bed pillows needed to be replaced, odor. The building had an odor. But everything I needed was available, and the staff allowed me to remove the pillows from the room with no problem. Everyone was polite. Parking was always available and the breakfast was fine.

Hotels need to get rid of pillows that smell and they need to consider the overall smell and freshness of the building.

The staff was great, they was the best starting from the greetings soon as we walk through the door when we came down to breakfast I even came down just for a snack they was really really nice made us feel so welcome it was are second time staying there we come for a car club pic nic and we like 20 min away from the park for new years..we could have picked a closer hotel but we choose them and will be back..thanks again

The lady serving the breakfast she had a terrible attitude she wasn't welcoming at all, but the staff at front was so nice we kinda over looked her. 1/1/22

Worth it to stay in Rancho Cordova. Nothing this nice in Sacramento proper at this price. Nice staff, clean and no homeless people wandering around the surrounding area/parking lot.

Really tired of staying at hotels that advertise a breakfast and getting a "grab and go" instead. Not the case in other states. At least the boxed breakfast here was very generous. How about discounting the rate a little for the reduction in service? I'm afraid this practice will become the industry standard in California well after the virus.

Unfortunately I don't remember the man's name (I could describe him well though), but I loved him. He was so personable and helpful, he made the stay just as much as the accommodations did.

They were having some issue with the card readers at the pool, but I imagine that was temporary and will soon be fixed.

the pool area could be improved, kids were in there 24/7, maybe set hours for adult swim time, hot tub would be nice . also breakfast could be improved, one day was just eggs that were cold and they were out of cranberry juice for 4 days in a row.

Breakfast was available that was great. I know due to Covid the breakfast would have been better. There was an older Hispanic woman that I noticed. She seemed very industrious, she was cleaning, and making sure the breakfast area was stocked. She is the type of employee that you don’t want to lose. She is what makes your hotel exceptional.

I may have missed it or overlooked it but I did not see coffee available. That was disappointing to me. I know there was accessible coffee in my room that I could of made. But due to limited time I enjoy coffee that has been already made and that is complimentary.

Breakfast was decent given the current situation with the pandemic. We were only in the hotel when it was time to sleep or swim. Location was perfect for our planned trip. Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating.

One staff member seemed to hate working at the hotel or dealing with customers. He did not have a very inviting attitude. Minus him, my experience there was nice. Also, cops were called in around 2am. Apparently there was a guest a couple doors down from mine who allegedly was physically abusing a woman he had in the room. However, the cops left and no one was arrested.

Nice rooms. Convenient location. Quiet.

Nice and quiet. Friendly staff. Unfortunately the coffee at hotels is usually nasty. Plus people spill it everywhere. Box food was ok...nice to have food on premises. Charged more than Booking.com. wasn't explained until I had concerns but staff was nice. Hopefully I only paid Booking.com fee and not $ 150.00+ more.
