Larkspur Landing Folsom-An All-Suite Hotel

Very clean, easy to get room cleaned by housekeeping on my schedule, great clean and free laundry services. Large bedroom and bathroom, nice balcony. Front desk staff was very nice. Nice to have two closets in room to store bags for a week. Loved the large desk for work. Also nice to have a full size fridge since we stayed a week.

We needed a handicap room as my husband is in a wheelchair. He could not reach the faucet from the shower bench as they are on opposite ends of the shower/tub. Also the location of the shower soap/shampoo/conditioner is on the opposite end of the tub from the shower bench.

This hotel is a great value. The location is near outlet shopping, restaurants, and an interstate freeway. The staff is friendly and responsive. Our room was clean and comfortable with a desk that served as a kitchen table and a kitchen with a full-size refrigerator and 2-burner electric stove.

The breakfast room is not large and had minimal seating which may have been impacted by a Christmas tree and the fact that there was a triad of diseases (Covid, flu and RSV) menacing everyone.

Im very pleased with my stay in every way. It's was more than I expected when I opened the door. I was here to do alot of paperwork to finish up a trust, but it was so relaxing, I extended my stay. I will tell everyone I know about this place and when I'm in town I will definitely stay here. And it smelt good. Other hotels should should be more like you. very clean. Most peaceful hotel I've ever been in.

It was a pain that you don't have a smoking room, especially when I m doing paperwork. But at least it wasn't to far to go.

Very nice suite.

Breakfast was short on choices. I really do not like receiving a message 48 hours after I checked out that there was a $75 pet fee they forgot to tell me about. We were not told about this at check-in and if we had been we would have gone elsewhere as that is $50 more than anyplace we have ever stayed with our small dog.

When I learned another family member was joining me, the staff was able to change my room to accommodate an additional bed. We enjoyed the morning coffee, fruit, and cookies in the lobby. My dogs loved the evening doggie treats. There was a nice hiking trail within walking distance and we enjoyed downtown Folsom with its farmer's market and quaint shops.

The fold-out couch was uncomfortable.

We liked it because we had never stayed there before, so we gave it a try.it's nice that they had fresh baked cookies there when you check in.

The only thing that we didn't like there was no scrub thing for the pots & pans & not enough of them, the dishwasher was a bit confusing.

Really enjoyed the breakfast! You order what you would like and for a specific time, then in the morning the front desk has a nice bag waiting for you with your personalized breakfast. What an excellent solution for this time of COVID. I only wish we could have gotten some coffee in the lounge as the little coffee machines in the rooms are never that good.

The staff are kind, friendly and so very friendly!

The mattress was lumpy and we kept sinking into the middle.. We stripped the bed and found a feather comforter under the mattress pad causing the issue. We removed the comforter and that helped solve the sinking in the middle problem. We bought a $25 mattress topper from Target and that solved the problem of the hard mattress.

Very pretty, we had the exec one bedroom. Perfect space for us. Kitchen, 2 TV sets were appreciated. Comfy and quiet!

No pool, bathroom needs update. The staff at check-in were not very engaging, but polite enough.

Room was spacious and comfortable. Front desk staff was very accomodating.

There was only one AC wall unit in the living room area and none in the bedroom, which made for a very warm night sleep. The floor fan in the bedroom did not provide adequate air flow.
