Hampton Inn & Suites Ridgecrest

We stayed at this hotel for just one night, after visiting the Death Valley. The location of the hotel is great. It is in the center of Ridgecrest. If you have a car, you can reach a lot of restaurants in less than 5 minutes and there is also a small park less than 1 mile away. Very cool! The hotel is very clean and very well organized. I went there with my husband and my brother and we found 2 amazing, big rooms. They were as we expected and the staff was very nice the whole time. We also had breakfast there. The food was really good! The hotel has also an open car parking space for the night. The hotel has also a swimming pool and a small jacuzzi.

The whole experience was really good. The only thing that could have been better was the swimming pool. We wanted to use it after we arrived and unfortunately, it was very dirty (a lot of leaves in the water and the bottom of the swimming pool seemed to be very dark). We decided to not even try it! The jacuzzi was better, so went there!

The free breakfast was hot food: eggs with ham and cheese; waffles, oatmeal; french toast; along with assorted cereals and yogurts, and coffee and tea. It wasn't a buffet, but you would tell staff what you wanted and they would assemble everything in small boxes to take back to the room. Central location. We stayed for our visits to Red Rock Canyon and Fossil Falls, and this place was in-between. No noice whatsoever, actually felt like the room was insulated, and did not have that thin paper wall feel. Easy parking, car was within sight of our room. Room was very clean and the beds were comfortable, and the A/C was easy to operate. Friendly staff and guests as well.

Price was a little higher than others, but not show stopper. Limited TV although it did have HBO, but no smart TV options like Netflix and the rest. Not much to dislike. It was a very enjoyable visit.

I liked the fact that due to flight delays my room was still available and the staff was very nice and courteous.

That the pool area was closed for renovations.

Very nice property and greeted nicely at the front desk. The room was typical for these hotels which means spacious, nice layout and clean with no lingering odor. the bed was very comfortable and so were the pillows. The hotel had a workout room and a nice breakfast area for the morning and the food was very acceptable.

I didn’t find anything negative about the hotel.

Breakfast was horrible and due to pandemic we were waiting for our turn for 40 minutes, because there was 1 single lady to cook and serve everyone in their turn! and finally we got our horrible untasty breakfast

We liked everything about it. Our room was on the first floor and we could walk right out the door to our car. Room was spacious. Staff was awesome! Nice and quiet, slept great!

There isn't anything that we didn't like about our room, service and stay.

Staff were young, friendly and very accommodating. Room felt very clean, bed comfortable, good use of space in the bathroom, great walk-in shower and a super quiet fan!

A comfy sitting chair would have been nice in the room.

Very nice staff, room was clean and comfortable away from any street noise like many hotels.

Upstairs neighbor seemed to be up moving around most of the night. The heated up omelette was horrible, I would never serve that to a guest.

It was not easy to find hotel close to Death Valley, but Hampton Inn was a godsend.

When we came for breakfast, receptionist said they are out of products and advised to visit some café around.

Room 341 the bathroom door swung open when not shut. Surprising my butt more than once
