Howard Johnson by Wyndham Ridgecrest, CA

Good location on the north end of town; right across street from a Stater Bros. market and Tokyo House restaurant (good Japanese food), plus next door to a Walgreen's. Very comfortable bed. Larger-than-usual mini fridge plus microwave. TV wasn't working the first night but it worked the rest of my stay. Very competitive rates.

Not a huge fan of the rainfall style of shower heads, especially in the small shower enclosure of my room. Makes it nearly impossible to avoid the water stream while lathering up. WiFi was on the slow side.

We were on route to Death Valley and then Vagas. The property was perfect for our pit stop. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. It had a good size room with a fridge and coffee maker and it served us well. There is also a cafe (the midway cafe) right next to the property which served amazing and well priced breakfasts. We also enjoyed Ridgeway and had a good meal at Charlie’s pub and grill, which was good fun.

great location for getting in and out of Death Valley, lots of services nearby including a cute little diner for breakfast and lots of other options. Saigon restaurant for dinner was perfect, hot Pho hit the spot. Bed was quite comfy. They were having a hot water issue when I was there but they made it right for me. Would definitely stay again. Attendant was very nice and didn't even blink when I called in very early in the morning re the water. Very accommodating, kind and courteous.

Obviously it would have been nice to have a hot shower before heading into the desert for a week of showerless camping, but really, it was fine. No complaints.

Moved to Oasis from a different hotel that was infested with bugs. Front desk lady assured me the rooms were clean and even showed me my room before charging me. The room was clean and comfortable AND the wifi worked which means I didn't have to spend the rest of my week at Starbucks.

I was working while I was out there so a desk would have been nice but I made it work.

Clean, good check-in, parking in front of the room, comfortable bed.

We came in the winter. To warm up the room we had to turn on the heater after we entered. It took a long time to warm up the room and the machine was very loud and it was impossible to keep it the whole night, so in the morning in was again cold in the room.

We arrived here really late. We'd phone ahead with our approximate time of arrival. The office was attended and we were in our room quickly. Our only 2 star stay for the whole trip. Better than some of the 4 star places. The room size was a bit small but the facilities were all there.

parking right in front of the door, extremely nice staff, beautiful room set up and the bed was probably the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. and the table & chair set by the door was so nice. my children enjoyed snacks outside and I enjoyed the night time air sitting out there.

We liked the location to restaurants, stores, and gas stations. When we entered we were surprised how clean it was. Nice little comfortable size.

The bathroom sink pipe kept leaking when you would use it. Brought it up to the front office. They said they would look into it but it was still a minor issue the following day. It wasn’t a big deal for us since we were there 2 nights. We placed towels on the bottom. Would have liked a small closet to hang items but again no big deal. No cold water. Each time we showered the water was warm.

Doesn’t look great on outside but room is nice and can park right up to your room,there’s a small restraunt in front they open early for breakfast

The pillows were to firm,I always like to bring my own pillows but I forgot also bring your own soap there room soaps are a waist

This is a great little motel. Anyone looking for a great place with a good value this is the place for you. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff/owner was very friendly and they are very pet friendly. Other reviews state that you can't judge a book by its cover. However, I think this is a hidden gem in a world of commercial motels.

The only thing that we had an issue with is the people above us were really noisy. However, that is not something the motel can control. Many people just do not have any common courtesy and that is the real issue.
