Hotel Aura SFO Airport

Underground free parking, large spacious and clean rooms. No bed bugs found in my initial search when I entered the room. Beds are comfortable, sheets were soft. I was greeted by Andre at the front desk and was very nice, he even advised me what restaurants are good around here. Some of the reviews said that the traffic is noisy, if you closed the window, you could barely hear it. It was a nice quiet stay!

I really enjoyed my stay. The only thing I didn't like has nothing to do with the hotel. It's about food deliveries. When you enter the hotel's address, the default address shows the city as South San Francisco when it's really San Bruno, I had to contact Grub Hub customer service after every order to contact and tell the driver that I am in San Bruno. Spoke with Andre at the front desk and he said that happens a lot because SSF also has an address of 190 El Camino Real. Just be careful when you provide the delivery address, or your food may be cold when it arrives.

Traveling with a 6 month old, we needed a place that was restful, with refrigerator and microwave, quiet, free parking and easy access to SFO airport to return rental car and fly back east. We were able to park immediately in the free parking garage and there was an elevator to check in, which was quick. I found a luggage cart near the registration desk and we were able to unload the car and child and go directly up to our room. Staff was helpful, many guests are young but friendly. Best part- was a 7 minute drive without getting on any highway to return the rental car. San Bruno had alot of construction but there are parks and eating options nearby. It is like being in a neighborhood. Location was nice.

The first room we were given was smokey and near the breakfast area which was on the second floor in the center of the rooms. In about one minute, the desk clerk gave us a new cleaner room, a little farther from the breakfast room. Very Basic breakfast; I would have added peanut butter to go on the many bread options and also some plain yogurt (I am allergic to strawberries) - and some decaf coffee pods in the rooms would be nice.

Andre was the Night Manager on 12/28, and he was especially helpful and friendly during my stay. I was waiting for a Door Dash delivery in the lobby on the night I arrived, and the delivery service was having a problem finding the hotel. Seeing that I was getting frustrated and without asking, Andre took the time to help me sort out the delivery issues and even showed me how to request a refund. I was unfamiliar with the area and he also patiently explained the proximity of the hotel to San Francisco. Andre provided outstanding customer service, and seeing a friendly face when you're in an unfamiliar area really makes a difference. Kudos to Andre!😊 Also, the female manager the next morning was also very friendly and helpful with transportation. Unfortunately, I was in such a hurry to check out, that didn't get her name, but she was also very welcoming and helpful. Very impressed with all the staff and the entire hotel property, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Aura Hotel to anyone traveling to San Francisco:)

I requested a quiet room and was given the room across the lobby from the check in desk. I really only heard a few noises but in the end, I really appreciated that I could exit the room quickly to catch our early morning Lyft to the SF airport.

Small amount of noise as the room was near the desk but as noted above it turned out okay with my heavy bags and early departure. Having to enter the hotel via the garage was a bit confusing at first. (We were dropped off by family and had to enter the garage to unload our bags since the hotel fronts a busier street with no parking out front.

The location was perfect for my travel. the staff was very friendly. I like the protected underground parking! The room was nice and clean and the bathroom was very nice, the shower pressure was very good! I strolled up the breakfast room, it looked great, .. they had fresh (you pour) waffle's with many other nice treats..

to be honest, I have a Temper Pedic mattress at home, so, the hotel bed was hmmm so,so.. Maybe the hotel could add a couple of streaming apps to the T.V. (and use your own passwords)

Excellent customer service. I spoke to Pravina over the phone and requested for an early check in. It was made available to me at the time promised, at a very reasonable extra charge. The staff were prompt about picking calls and communication when I called from the airport regarding the airport shuttle as well. The room was basic, but clean, spacious and comfortable. Comfortable beds. Had a microwave and fridge (I didn't need to use these). Pravina was very kind and I got excellent directions when I needed to use the public transport. There are a few restaurant options near by as well. Although the hotel was a 10 minute drive from the airport, my flights were timed during the time that they had airport shuttles available. Breakfast was decent; there was hot coffee, juice, milk, hot toast, oats, fruit and muffins. Overall, it was all good and the customer service of the front desk stood out. I would definitely stay here again.

Nothing really

We needed an overnight stay near SF airport. Aura is located about 15 minutes drive from the airport. They offer scheduled shuttle service in the early morning and the afternoon, which is really convenient. The room was good size and had coffee maker, fridge and microwave oven. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. Also, a complimentary breakfast, which had mostly cereal, sweat rolls and hot and cold drinks. The staff was very friendly. They also have a parking garage, which I think is free of charge (I didn't use). The street is busy, but just up a couple of blocks is a very nice playground. Across the street is also a very good Mexican restaurant.

The location was nice and the underground parking next to the lobby entrance was a plus. The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was nice and spacious. We were able to kick back and watch the large TV and I did not have to put my glasses on lol. The bed was nice and firm. Would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay at again if we revisit this area. We will bring pillows and breakfast items though.

The pillows are rockhard causing me to wake up with a headache. I don’t remember if they advertise for breakfast or not. If they do disregard it. They literally only had Vending machine pastries, a coffee machine serving instant coffee, and watered down juice. It was totally disgusting. We’re OK with minimal dry cereal with milk, oatmeal, possibly a boiled egg, fruit or yogurt. You will not find that here.

Room was clean and quiet. Hotel was chosen because it had a reasonable rate and shuttle service to SFO, and we had an early morning flight. Everything went fine, and the hotel was great. It turns out that the main street in San Bruno (a 15 minute walk) has an awesome variety of ethnic restaurants, which was a nice benefit.

We did not have much in the way of expectations (we had never stayed in the hotel before) and we were very happy.

The staffs are not super friendly or helpful, but they are okay. The location is great for me because I had two large suitcases and would like to stay somewhere near the airport. Plus the price is good (but I hate how booking.com doesn't show the final prices including taxes when I do the search). The room has a humid smell, and it's not super clean, but it's okay for its value. They provide a free shuttle to and from the airport, but the last shuttle bus to the airport is at 9:08am, which is quite early (my flight is in the afternoon). Overall, I will come back to this hotel if I visit San Fran again.
