Hacienda de Leal, Ascend Hotel Collection

The romantic atmosphere was on point! We arrived at night when all the trees where lit up and it looked magical! The room was spotless and clean and very large size with new flooring. There was a microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, iphone clock to charge phone, a safe, iron/iron board, hairdryer, tv, dressers, and an extra desk! (Free wifi) The staff is super nice and kind and it appeared that they were genuinely happy to help us. They are all top notch professionals here!

I didn't like that we had to leave. 3 days is not enough to explore the local areas and town. We will definitely be returning!

Very close to the cute little town of San Jaun Bautista... within walking distance if you choose to walk. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and we loved that the landscaping of the hotel included grape vines (the owner of the hotel also owns Leal Vineyards in nearby Hollister, CA). We enjoyed a complimentary wine tasting of Leal Vineyards wine. The outside courtyard was not being utilized at the time of our stay, so there were no tables and chairs. It was quite cool during our stay, so that was ok. Would be a great place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine during the warmer months. Breakfast included pastries, oatmeal, coffee... the basics to get our day started. Overall, very happy with our stay.

Beautiful property, clean, nice rooms, comfortable beds. Free wine tasting our first night, friendly staff. I would definitely like to stay again. It's dog friendly.

As others mentioned, the sound insulation is not very good - we were lucky to be at the end and no one in the room beside us. A sign in the lobby mentions wine tasting daily but on our second night, we were not offered another tasting. The location is very close to the downtown area but if you're walking, there is a very busy highway that you need to cross - not ideal especially at night so it's best to drive.

Very cozy vibes, comfortable and clean beds. Hot showers, updated room overall. Very close to the strip under a 3 minute drive, possibly a 10 minute walk at most.

I'm unsure why, but the floors in the bathroom were soaked after showers. I don't know if it was leaking or if it was the shower door not aligned enough to keep most of the water in. Not a huge deal. Just had to get extra towels to clean it up. We let the front know, and they said they would look into it.

Room was spacious and comfortable, staff was super friendly and helpful, hotel grounds are sometimes used as a wedding venue so everything was clean and pretty. Loved the whole aesthetic of the place. Free wifi and water/heating worked perfectly. Location was also convenient driving to either the east or west entrance of Pinnacles Natl. Park.

There was nothing bad. The breakfast was just okay, nothing hot provided.

The hotel was nice, a great area close to the little town. The staff was super friendly, it was quiet and the rooms were clean and modern.

The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired, it was some toast, cups of yogurt, and bagged Quaker Oatmeal along with some plain bagels. No Orange juice or fruit aside from some apples and Bananas. For the price paid, I would of expected a little more.

From the time we got to the property, to the time we left, it was great. The staff was very friendly, and provided everything we needed fro our stay. I travel a lot for business, and quite honestly, the room and amenities, were better than some of the Hiltons and Marriotts I stay at. The bed was super comfy, great coffee service in the room, and water replenished each day... you don't get that at most Hilton's or Marriott's these days, and I have elite status with them. Plus, you can't beat that they have a wine tasting every evening.

The only thing that they need to do, is add a little shelf in the shower. That's about it. I just wish there were more hotels like this where I travel to for business. :-)

Everyone at the front desk was very sweet and helpful. The bed was so comfortable. Shower had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. Good location with easy walk to town. Courtyard ambience was magical at evenings.

Had a downstairs room. Very heavy footsteps above me. Luckily, they quieted at bedtime.

It was a pleasure to be able to afford to stay here. I would appreciate being able to keep staying healthy over there with them. My experience is that it was the best value for the money out of every hotel I have been in over the past past three years. I appreciate that about this place.

The architectural design of this hotel is awesome! Every piece of furniture fits to the enterior. The Garden is very beautiful also. The staff is super nice.
