loved the staff

The rooms were very comfortable, clean and great stay. The location was great. We had dinner in Santa Barbara which is really not far and visited UCSB. It’s a good deal to be close to Santa Barbara and the beach without being over priced. The morning breakfast box is not the greatest but it’s definitely good to have. Lots of other eating places around (Try Jeanine’s nearby).

The $10 for parking doesn’t make much sense. There is no lack of parking spots and although it is close to the airport, most people are driving in to the area. Just seems like a way to collect a little extra while keeping the room charge down.

The room we had, 204, must have been above an engine room. All night long I was woken up by loud noises below that sounded like a truck engine that was idling. I went to the front desk around 3 am to ask for ear plugs. It was a terrible night sleep.

Location was great, the local farmers market was nice to attend. Comfortable and very clean room. Loved the large bathroom!

Unfortunately since we traveled during Covid we didn't get use the beautiful pool. Things were limited.

The property location was excellent close in proximity to shops and restaurants and the freeway. The staff were very hospitable and helpful.

The hotel did not advertise that cleaning rooms only occurred every four days. Over the course of our stay which was approximately five night stay we had to request room cleaning and toiletry supplies on several occasions.

I had a wonderful time at this hotel. Everyone was really nice, specially Paulina from de front desk. The Bistro’s breakfast is really good.

The air conditioning was a bit too noisy, but the weather was so nice that I turned it off.

Location was good. Close enough (10-15 mins to Stearns wharf, state street, the zoo, etc Also, neara plaza/strip mall with plenty of food options which was necessary since the bistro is closed due to covid. I did like the lighting in the bathroom and the shower was nice and spacious and clean.

The breakfast boxes they provided need an upgrade. 2 little muffins, a fruit cocktail and mini water was very disappointing and the staff member that directed my husband to it was very rude. Sarcastic/impolite and seemed bothered that he was asking her for assistance. Also, please put another mirror in the room that's not in the bathroom (preferably near some natural light). The only 2 mirrors are both in the bathroom so it's hard for one person to get ready if someones in there.

Very nice room and facilities. Courtyard was lovely.

The dang lightswitch was on the wrong side of the bathroom door. Never got used to that. LOL Would have been nice to have USB charging ports. But nothing really complaint worthy.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and quiet. Great location not too far from the beach and close to a nice park, and close to a grocery store.

The only negative was that the bathroom door swung closed so we had to prop it with a shoe so it wouldn’t clank and wake the baby.
