Quality Inn Santa Barbara

A nice motel about 2 miles north of the Santa Barbara seafront however it is on a busy intersection. It is made up of several parts with a central parking area servicing some rooms while others have off road parking outside the room itself. The room was a good size, clean and well maintained. We had the accessible room which comes with it's own disabled parking space in the main car park although we didn't need to use it. The aircon worked a treat. We took a walk down the main road and visited a bar. Most of the restaurants were closed or closing at 9pm as is common in the US. The area is nice and not threatening at all despite being a residential area as opposed to a tourist place. The motel provides a self serve breakfast where we god to learn how to make waffles in waffle irons. There was also yoghurts, cereals, milk, pastries and coffee in abundance. You could really stock up for the day ahead. As opposed to our other stays in California it seems that they used concrete rather than just wood when they built the main part of the motel so we didn't suffer from any noises from the neighbours nor from above.

Good and quiet location. Has drinking water. Plenty of parking places.

i asked the guy about the expected check out time the night before and he said 12p (I asked in advance for making my plan). But on the next day I got a remind call at 10.50 telling me that the check out time is 11a. So I told the morning guy the situation and said I will check out at 11.30. However, there are still people (I guess they didn't get the message from the front desk) knocking at my door every 10 min, which is pretty annoying.

Everything the room we had lobby breakfast grounds was super clean. People nice. Nice size room and bed very comfortable. Updated. Pool looked great, nice and clean also didn't have time to use it. Staff were very nice. Starbucks and some restaurants within walking distance and also a Trader Joe's within walking distance. Not alot of breakfast items but what was there was good. Im not much of a breakfast person but nice to have something to eat. We were there Memorial weekend 2022 so I thought a bit pricey.

Easy to Park, area was nice, felt safe. the staff were friendly. Nice Decor, room was nice, comfy bed. Breakfast was good has waffle maker, buns, cereal and coffee.

The only thing we didn’t like was carrying suitcases up stairs to get to room but this can’t be helped. (this can be overcome if there’s space to park at the front) The toilet didn’t flush because it kept trying to fill with water, this was noisy all night long but easily fixed we were only staying 1 night though so hadn’t mentioned it.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Hotel was clean and basic. Pool was awesome, heated and I believe it was a salt pool, so no chlorine smell after getting out.

Price. Don't get me wrong, the facilities were clean, nice, and so were the staff, but cost was way too high in my opinion for what we got in return. This 2 night stay cost me double what I paid for a 4 night stay at a luxury hotel/spa/casinio in Las Vegas. And this was a very small hotel, with no restaurant/shops/etc. Now we booked last minute, it was Santa Barbara after all tucked into a residential area, so that may have been factors in the price, but I still think that for a Non-holiday weekend it could have been considerably more reasonable. We would absolutely consider staying there again, but it would be absolutely contingent on the cost.

Price compared to other hotels in Santa Barbara, CA. Location was safe and ideal for rolling into Mission Santa Barbara the next morning, followed by driving to the pier. Beds and total room experience were restful. Very, very nice view of mountains in the morning!!!

Rooms and parking were a little cramped for three travelers but we managed. No elevator.

I loved how clean the room was. 2 queen beds and renovated. It was nice. Comforter was comfy and clean.

The breakfast was just waffles, muffins, yogurt, and cereal. If that's all you eat then there you go. If you want more, you definitely need to eat Breakfast somewhere else. Waffles 🧇 were good though.

This Inn is in The Oak Park prestigious neighborhood of Santa Barbara. Beautiful!!! Great value for a short stay! There is a Starbucks and Trader Joes within walking distance!!! The staff are very accommodating to needs and questions, thank you!!!

The pool is small and the photos show it to be lush. Very Few trees, but the swim was great!

Thomas operates an extremely comfortable and clean property. I have stayed many times and each room is comfortable and clean. The property is quiet.

I did not have any dislikes.. Everything was extremely clean, organized and fresh. The weather was warmer than what I would have preferred but the climate control took care of that issue so that it was really nothing.

Lowest priced hotel I could find in Santa Barbara that got good ratings. it was very clean, beds were comfortable and pillows were fluffy. Bathroom sink was outside the toilet/tub area so one of us could use the sink while the other showered. Staff was friendly and the night desk man helped me find a parking space when we got back at midnight.

I liked the old-fashioned roadside hotel vibe but if you are looking for something upscale, this isn’t your place. Just a little drive up hotel with a small outdoor pool.
