It a historic building close to a great tourist area

We were given a handicap room close to the entrance. We should have asked for a new room right away. We traveled with 2 teen daughters. A bathroom is difficult to share at that age and the bathroom was a bit difficult to use because it was a handicap room. For the cost, there isn’t much included but we were very happy with the location. The “extras” were very basic. For example, the toiletries were generic and you could buy snacks like sodas, cookies or chips at the desk. We asked for advise on some excursions we wanted to take. I wasn’t expecting a concierge but the staff at the desk wasn’t very knowledgeable about the area.

My experience at the Virginia Hotel was exceptional. The staff was incredibly communicative and accommodating, ensuring that all my needs were met. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, making it feel like a pristine haven. The beds were unbelievably comfortable, providing a heavenly sleeping experience. I was so impressed by the cleanliness and comfort that I seriously considered extending my stay for another night.

My stay at the Virginia Hotel was overall enjoyable, with the only downside being the parking situation. The $30 per night fee seemed excessive to me. However, the valet service made up for it with their friendly and professional demeanor, which helped me understand the reasoning behind the cost.

The hotel and staff to valet staff are amazing. Everyone was knowledgeable about directions. Room service was fast and convenient. I will be back The hotel is walking distance to the restaurants and All shops the bed are comfortable soft running water it was an amazing stay. I will be back 🥰

A very modern hotel in the heart of Santa Barbara, within walking distance of bars and the promenade, while a little away from the bustling central street. The staff is very friendly and helps with all questions.

Bottles of water in the room are free of charge only if there is a club card, without a club card they charge $ 3. I think that for such a price, the rooms could provide their guests with water for free. There is no free parking, only paid parking of $ 30 per day.

my credit card was wrongly charged at night by the hotel due to an error or hack. i was able to resolve the matter with some interactions with the credit card company. however, the hotel staff didn't seem to care about the matter at all. this was irritating because everything else was perfect and they were friendly.

Did not eat the breakfast, the location was prime!!! So happy with this hotel find at this location in Santa Barbara!

The people had little kids in the room directly above us and they kept jumping and laughing and woke me up. Surprisingly it was after midnight that this happened. I had kids and I know that they used to get excited being on vacation, so I didn't want to be starting an issue and complaining. All is forgiven. That didn't dampen the mood on our stay by any means. The hotel was really nice, and the staff were very professional and friendly.

The room was nice with all of the basic amenities.

The bathroom had holes in the wall from previous screws and chipped paint.

Overall the hotel was nice. Very clean great location. Friendly staff.

The breakfast could use some help!

Location is great for both shopping & wharf/beach. Great older facility that’s been updated. If you like to get exercise walking and biking, and close to all the tourist attractions, this is a great place.

This is the first time we stay in a Tapestry Collection . We loved the property , great location . Very very friendly staff from front desk and valet parking. Rooms were clean spacious and have a nice decoration. Will stay here again for sure!! We loved Santa Barbara
