Strawberry Inn

I like the close proximity the Strawberry Inn was to the Leland Snow Park which was our reason for coming here, the distance was near so makes it very comforting and convenient especially when traveling with 2 young kids. The room was very spacious for the 4 of us, plenty of space to walk around the 2 queen size beds. The garden view looks out to the garden/stream area which was very pleasant during our stay because we can see the calming white snow. I also like having the Restaurant right on site and really appreciate the restaurant/bar being open/serving meal/food on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day! This was especially important to us since many other places would have been closed, so we were able to have warm meals for our traveling companions. The pool table and foosball table inside the restaurant was such a huge bonus, our kids loved it and looked forward to playing there before we left for the snowpark and after we came back for dinner. The ladies managing the restaurant/bar were extremely kind and polite. I also like the nice open area in the back of the Inn and the stream behind it, we arrived earlier than check-in time but the kids were able to enjoy some snow play in the back while we waited for check-in, this really help to keep them occupied and entertained after a 4 hours drive.

There was nothing that was unacceptable, overall everything was as best as can be expected when staying away from home. The stay at Strawberry Inn was very pleasant.

Clean rooms, Great location, Good staffs!! We had memorable times with kids in Ski season. The staffs were friendly for travelers, we were really relaxed in there. One of our recommendations was Strawberry Hamburger in the restaurant. If you have a chance, try it!

excellent location, great bar and restaurant, excellent people/staff, a small store right across, Leland snowplat only 4.5 miles away, clean room!

the AC in our room was noisy and malfunctioned. the staff did help us by providing a room heater though. (was pretty cold in Jan)

We spent two nights. I loved the restaurant, the hotel was right above and they had the coolest deck! With a beautiful view of the river running right below, and it was lightly snowing so when we’d go out and have breakfast or dinner outside it was awesome! I chose this location because there was snow at and all around the property. The owner/ manager was very good, he was working the bar, kitchen, check in and many other things, the man who worked there as well, he was wonderful very customer service oriented, he was awesome really.

The beds could have been more comfortable I slept horribly both nights, real coffee and maybe a mini fridge would be nice, that’s all we wanted somewhere cold for our baby’s milk,it was a struggle. Next time I’ll take an ice chest?

Liked the ikat duvet cover. Bed and pillow were comfortable and clean. Room and bathroom were clean, thankfully (except for dirty baseboards behind furniture). Heater worked well when needed and able to adjust. Convenient to have restaurant onsite (albeit takeout only during Covid-time). Food was standard, good. Mary-Sue and cleaning lady were exceptional staff there. Great location if skiing at Dodge Ridge ski resort (10mins away).

Needed dining table (or foldable bed table) given Covid-time and stuck in room. Although patio open for outdoor dining, it had ice on steps and no heater outside. Sofa bed mattress was “unsleepable” that husband had to check into another hotel to sleep.

Food was okay for the price.

Food is delicious! Their pizza is the best. The bed was squeaky and the bar was loud, but still a great place!

Excellent location. Decent rooms for the location with nice views. Nice restaurant and bar for breakfast and dinner!

The room was simple and cute. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed dinner (pizza) and breakfast.

The bed being on a metal frame wasn't my favorite (noise) but it wasn't uncomfortable..
