Hampton Inn & Suites Yuba City

Quite, plenty of restaraunts within walking distance. Staff was really cool.

Carpets were a little worn, but they were remodeling. No one ever came to tidy the room... but they did have a number to call for assistance. The fridge was bare...no room service for food. Drinks. Not a big deal but for the money it would have been nice.

it’s was super clean and the staff were excellent. Room was clean, bed was comfy and the bathroom was spacious and also very clean. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and had a lot of variety from hot and cold foods. Fitness room was nice, clean and tidy as well.

The price was quite high compared to staying at the exact same hotel (Hampton Inn) in Wells, Nevada, which was a hundred and something where this Hampton Inn was over $200 a night - exact same rooms styles and hotel, just different city. Hotel is fine and in good location except for crowing roosters on premises in wee hours or the morning.

It seemed very clean and very nice. there were delightful chickens outside wandering around! breakfast was quite yummy.

I thought it was so lovely, then I got in bed. I’m not one to complain about a mattress, but it was the first time I have felt like, “wow, it’s a terrible mattress”. I hope they can invest in some new mattresses. I traveled with two friends who were in other rooms and reported the same.

The breakfast buffet was wonderful. Lots of choices. The staff were courteous and friendly. The chickens roaming the grounds were fun to watch.

When I made my reservation I requested a first floor room as I am disabled and have mobility issues. When I checked in, I was given a room on the 3rd floor. Fortunately, the clerk at the front desk noticed and changed my room to the first floor without me having to say anything.

The reception gal, Candace, went over and above in accommodating myself and my friend. Candace has a wonderfully professional yet personable way about herself and is a real asset to the Hampton Inn, Yuba City, CA.

I thought it was a bit pricey for Yuba City.

the location was perfect for where we were headed that night. Kohls was right across the street which came in handy. restaurants within a super short walking distance. THE STAFF!!! super sweet and welcoming. Room was spacious and very VERY clean.

The hotel and staff were wonderful. Big rooms. Clean. Comfy beds and great shower! Quiet location. Breakfast was good. We will for sure stay here again!

Coffee wasn't good, but that is kind of expected for hotels. Dining room a bit small- get there early to get a spot.

the wild roosters of Yuba City. I really did not appreciate being woken up by them. However it is not the fault of the property since it is a city wide issue.

the mattress was very uncomfortable. I expected a reasonably comfortable mattress at a Hampton inn. if you stay here, I suggest you ask if you can see your room prior to check in. LAY on your bed! if it’s a terrible mattress, ask if you can have a room with a better mattress.
