Hilton Garden Inn Colorado Springs Downtown, Co

The hotel was exceptionally clean, the breakfast was outstanding, and the staff throughout the building were friendly. The cook was kind and prepared "to-go" breakfasts that I took up to my room for my still snoozing teenage boys.

Parking was an additional $15, but that was OK. I had a few misadventures trying to find the parking garage. I don't think the person that checked me in told me that the address of the garage was inside the keycard holder. That would have been helpful. The misadventures will make funny stories. The road noise from our room (6th floor) was exceptionally loud, both late at night and early in the morning. The noise was caused either by motorcycles or cars without mufflers. It occurred quite often.

The view was AMAZING! We loved watching the sun set into the mountains. Very comfortable bed as well.

It was very hot at night. We would have the a/c set pretty low (but reasonable) and I would still wake up every night burning up. I’m not sure if it’s an insulation thing or what, but it made for some restless nights. I was a little bummed about no room service too. I do understand that because of COVID, things are limited and I respect that. However, that was one of the reasons I picked the hotel. It’s kind of our traveling tradition to stay in the first night and get room service, so I was a little disappointed to find out we couldn’t. Overall, it was more of a positive stay than a negative!

The location of the hotel is great. Lots of options for meals and drinks in the direct vicinity and easy access to tourist attractions. Uninterrupted view of Pike's Peak. We did not use the breakfast service.

A small attention like water available in the room without the chlorine taste of US-tap water would have been nice. But overall the stay was great.

The downtown location is excellent for food options and shopping. The hotel is clean and comfortable, as one would expect. I previously stayed at a similarly priced hotel down the street that has a good reputation...and found this hotel to be noticeably better - in terms of the room and amenities - than the other hotel.

I found it pricey for the amenities, but its important to note that all similar hotels were similarly priced on the dates that we looked.

The room was so so clean and comfortable. Close to everything we wanted to do and see. The staff was super welcoming and helpful the entire stay.

The breakfast was expensive for what was offered. Would have liked more options on the hot side … didn’t have many of the items listed on the paper which was presented at the counter.

Spotless, modern facilities. Prompt, polite service. Spacious room. Comfy bed. Neutrogena toiletries.

Parking, is $15/night (hot tip; there is a municipal parking garage a block away that is half the price). Spa was dirty (pool appeared clean)

Clean modern hotel a few blocks from downtown bars and restaurants. We had a great view of the mountains from our room. Nice big walk in shower and plenty of storage for cases and bags. Couldn’t fault it.

My best friend & I came to Colorado for a short getaway, and while there, we stayed in 3 different hotels in 3 separate cities. The Hilton Garden Inn - Downtown Colorado Springs was *by far* the best! All of the staff were incredibly friendly & helpful! The COVID-19 health & safety precautions were evident & enforced as well, which was incredibly reassuring and greatly appreciated. The woman who checked us in was one of the most friendly front desk hotel employees I’ve ever interacted with, and I do a LOT of traveling—for both work & leisure. As she was getting our information, we made small talk, us mentioning it was my friend’s first time being in Colorado or seeing the mountains, & she said, “Oh, well welcome! In that case, let’s be sure to get you a room with a good view! How does a top floor Mountain View sound?” We were so grateful! It was already dark when we arrived, but the view of all the lights across the mountains in the distance was stunning! When we woke up in the morning to such a beautiful & breathtaking view of the mountains, we appreciated her for it even more! It was overcast & a bit foggy, which luckily is my friend’s favorite type of weather, so it couldn’t have been more perfect! My only regret is that I forgot to write down her name and can’t mention her specifically and ask that she be recognized for going above & beyond! We arrived around 6pm on Friday 1/8/2021. If there is anyway to tell who was working the check-in desk that evening, please thank her again for her excellent customer service!

Location on streets and parking is a nightmare if you haven’t been here before and don’t realize what’s happening. You have to unload in front of the hotel on the street, after you have passed the public parking garage. Then you have to make a huge loop around the block one way or the other to avoid one way streets and center meridians to get back to where the parking is.
