We had a great stay at the inn on fleming! When we checked in they had a bottle of Prosecco on ice waiting for us since we were celebrating our anniversary! It’s a great location that’s a quick bike ride from everything key west has to offer. Even better, the inn provides the bike rentals. The inn offered a lot of little amenities that I’ve never seen at any other place I’ve stayed - a fridge outside with soda and beer, snacks in the kitchen, a curio cabinet with little necessities you may have forgotten (e.g. tampons, sunscreen, aloe gel, towels). The pool is small but nice for lounging. The inn also gives you vouchers for Cuban Coffee Queen which was very good for breakfast! We would definitely stay here again.

The only complaint I had was in regards to our particular room. I don’t think this would apply to literally any other room at the inn. We stayed in the Flagler room which is the first room on the right when you walk into the inn. Because it was at the entry to the inn, you could hear people coming and going as well as everyone’s conversation. The room also has two sets of doors to enter the room but one of them is completely locked at all times. However, we noticed about halfway through our stay that you could totally see right into our room looking at the bed, from a crack between the first set of doors that are kept locked. We were able to hang a towel up on the inside of the door to cover the crack but I wish we had noticed this sooner.

The inn was comfortable and quiet. My queen-bed room was cozy with a shower/tub, a mini-fridge and a small coffee maker. Due to the unique layout with separate entrances for some rooms I hardly saw other guests. David was a fantastic host and a pleasure to get to know. Fleming Street is one-way so not too busy, I enjoyed sitting out on the front porch with a cup of coffee and book watching people go by. The on-site bike rentals were a convenient bonus. The heart of Duval Street is a 15 minute walk or a 5 minute bike ride (use the bike lanes on Southard to Duval and back on Fleming). I never moved my car that I left in a free street spot around the corner (make sure you don’t park in a spot labeled “resident permit”). Take advantage of the included gift certificates to Cuban Coffee Queen just a short walk to the marina or their other location off Duval.

Personable. Small facility. Only 9 rooms in house. Room was large with king bed and decorated nicely. Loved the free drinks and snacks provided. Continental breakfast was nice. Pool was small but very cool water and refreshing. Surrounding vegetation makes you feel like on an island vacation.

Not walking distance to main downtown but took Uber which was well priced and worth not get a heat stroke since heat index was very high. Could have used the Duval loop bus but had activities planned since there for a wedding.

Charming inn with a good location, clean, and a comfortable bed. in a nice room. We met the weekday reception man on Monday when we were leaving. he was very outgoing and friendly.

The man who was the receptionist when we arrived on Saturday was nice, and somewhat helpful if we asked questions. But did not offer any assistance or recommendations as a welcoming innkeeper would/should. Then, every time we came through the rest of the weekend he had his eyes glued to his computer screen and never acknowledged us. Not good for an inn’s receptionist. Currently the inn is not serving breakfast, which was not noted on Booking.com or on the inn’s website. That should have been specified as the included breakfast is one reason I chose this B & B. They did give us a certificate for $5 off at a local breakfast place, but $5 did not begin to cover the cost there.

I liked that this property really close to the free Duval Loop. It was in a quiet area but close enough to transportation to the action. I also thought the happy hour and snacks were a nice touch.

One of the rooms we rented for our friends didn’t have much water pressure in the shower. Also, it looked like the headboard of our bed needs a good cleaning.

I enjoy the location, it’s centrally located, walking distance to duval street, to the boardwalk, pier, the place itself was very nice and clean, old wooden floors. AC was so nice and cold, beds were so comfortable and sheet so soft, especially when coming in from a long walk or scooters ride. There’s a nice pool on the property. the staff are very helpful. there’s snacks that’s available for grabs. Also the beer and wine is by the pool if your thirsty it’s also free of a guest to enjoy. The rooms were clean everyday after alone day. I recommend this cute place 100%

The location was really good, and the decking area at the rear was superb, nice touch to have a complimentary happy hour every day for the residents, too.

The only downside was the shower pressure on our room was very low it was more of a dribble than a shower...but we managed. Being on the ground floor was also quite noisy when other guests rolled in late at night...not much could be done about that though.

Fantastic location, walking distance to many tourist sites, yet far enough away from any noisy night life attractions. Room was clean, spacious, well appointed with amenities. Happy hour on back patio with a small pool. Vouchers for breakfast at a nearby cafe.

The bed in my room was located between two front windows that opened on a (very lovely) wrap around front porch, so early mornings people wold sit out there to have coffee, wait for a taxi, etc. They weren't noisy, but the proximity meant that they could be heard.

We thought the room was very nice. The first floor location was a necessity, since we would not be comfortable going up and down the steps with our heavy luggage. Happy Hour was a surprise and much appreciated. The location was good for some things, but a long walk from Duvall. If we come back we need to learn how to use the bus, or rent something to get around, because we were not sure if we would have a parking space when we got back.

The distance from Duvall St. Just saw the question below, did not know about Smathers Beach. Might something to be sure to tell people.

David checked us in and he was amazing! Very friendly, and helpful. Even tried keeping a lookout for a parking spot for us. Eventually we found a spot, and then decided to take the bus over towards Mallory Square (Which it won't take you directly over there right now, because they're doing roadwork) Everything is pretty much walking distance, but recommend taking the bus during the day because of the heat. We walked back at night, and it was a nice walk back. Felt very safe, and loved looking at all the amazing houses along the way.
