La Pensione Inn - Adult Exclusive

We loved everything about this property. It’s very quaint. We used the pool everyday and each time we were the only ones there. Definitely beats staying at a busy resort. We took an Uber from the airport and the drive was only 10 mins. Easy walk to all the popular spots. Chairs on the balcony were so comfortable and water pressure in the shower was perfect! Staff was so incredibly friendly and they held our luggage until our room was ready. Will definitely stay here next time I’m back in Key West.

The house and entire property have character, it is located in old city of Key West. Everything is in walking distance and you don't need a car. They have decent parking on property. The room was excellent, in old house but erything was like new, very clean. Landscape around was amazing, garden and pool area. We took our breakfast and ate in the garden, It was really enjoyable.

Room windows are locked and can't be open. This is just suggestion for improvement: In such a nice place, I would remove plastic cups and replace them by glass.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The receptionist explained in detail all aspects of our stay. The room was very spacious and comfortable with a well-appointed bathroom.

We felt that the breakfast could have been more varied by including some fresh fruit. We were surprised to receive an email saying that due to a change of policy we would be charged an additional $50 service charge above the price offered on Booking.com. We were disconcerted by the pest control operator walking around the property with what appeared to be a snipers rifle and carrying a dead lizard by the tail.

Our room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. On our first night when our TV wouldn't work the staff made it their personal mission to fix it. When it couldn't be fixed they offered for us to change rooms. (we chose not to), and made a point of fixing it the next day. When we checked out they gave us a credit for our troubles. It seems every staff member is very well trained and fully dedicated to providing excellent customer service. At breakfast the coffee thermos had barely made a gurgle when TWO staff members hurried to get full ones. It felt wonderful to receive such kind service.

Two of three mornings there weren't enough chairs at breakfast. Also, the omelets would be so much better if you offered cheddar cheese.

Everything! The staff at check-in was so friendly and helpful orienting me to the property and surrounding areas. They gave me a map and told me general info about Duvall Street nearby. With their helpful info I was able to get around and see all the sights I wanted. The hotel has free parking, which was a factor in selecting it, but it got even better. At check-out, staff told me I could still keep my car at the hotel for 2-3 hours afterward. Paid parking is basically everywhere in Key West so this was an exceptional bonus!

We enjoyed the boutique feel of the inn. Location was within walking distance of everything (for us as we enjoy walking; some may need to rent bikes, scooters or golf cart). Had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Breakfast was perfect to start our day - omelets made to order plus bagels, cereal, toast, yogurt, muffins, bananas, loaf cake, juice, milk & coffee. Took our breakfast to the private garden - perfect! Bed was super comfy even after 6 nights. Staff went above & beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. Ordered daily room service at check in. So nice to come back to our clean room after a day out enjoying the island.

Key West is expensive, which we knew in advance. Most restaurants cater to the party crowd and not the foodies. Had 2 great meals at Amigos and 1 at Moon Dog. Others were very disappointing with both food and service.

Location and facility are beautiful. Room was very roomy with a luxurious feel. Bathroom was very attractive as well as functional. Staff were wonderful in being able to meet my request for a ground floor, and our late check in.

The breakfast was not on the level of the facility and location. It was similar to breakfasts we have received at several big hotel chains. The breakfast should match the character of the location and the elegance of the facility.

Breakfast was nice. We only used the pool once, but it was nice and clean. We stayed on the second floor and the balcony was great. We were able to walk everywhere. We only Uber'ed to and from the airport.

Its not something you can control, but the traffic was loud at all times. Loud Harley's were common at all hours. Planes fly overhead at a pretty constant rate. Again, not you fault, and not a deal breaker. Water pressure in the shower was a little low.

We like everything about our stay. Location, beautiful room and the outdoor porch was an extra plus. It was spacious and they upgraded us to a king bed without extra cost. It was centrally located that we were able to walk everywhere. A+ overall!

Nothing, everything was perfect. Even the breakfast was awesome. Friendly staff and we were even able to buy the hop on hop off tickets at the front desk which was very convenient.

no staff at la Pensione Inn. The necessity to cross the street for check-in and out in another hotel. the breakfast was at the other hotel too. not enough seats and tables for all the clients. too many people for the small breakfast area. I went to this hotel before, it was nothing to compare to now .
