La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lake City

Everything was very clean and the staff was nice. We was traveling with a toddler they all was so nice to her. Breakfast was good, location is great we was close to places to eat and stores. I would definitely recommend staying we wanted somewhere safe and clean for our toddler it definitely was.

No bath it was just a shower so keep that in mind if you have kids. The pool was good for our toddler its just 3ft the only thing I wish is they would change the temperature of the room its indoors and was great but the temperature was set at 69 for the room and the water wasn't the warmest so you do get cold in it. Room didn't have the full couch it was just the long part

I love that the rooms and the facility is up to date. It felt cozy and had good breakfast options. Also I originally chose this location because I thought I was gonna have my little fur baby with me but ended up not bringing him. I'm glad a hotel this nice allows you to bring them if you must. It was in a good location as well, close to anything you need. I will stay again.

I can't say there is anything I didn't like. I don't have much contact with the staff so that I cannot comment on.

It was an easy booking. Great hotel and lovely room with great breakfast!

The lady who works the front desk was way too flirtatious with my husband. My own 13 year old daughter had to tell her to leave her dad alone, asking where he lived and what he did for a living all while laughing. I was not around as I was at our car. This is very unprofessional and the questions that she continued to ask were too personal. My husband felt very uncomfortable and this just kind of blew my mind.

I also had a room at Sarasota downtown LaQuenta by Wyndham the following day and it was $10 cheaper than your rate HOWEVER your Room was clean, TV worked, bathroom was clean, large and mirror fogged only for a second. Your continental breakfast was one of the bests I've had (the Belgian Waffle was to die for!) Your rate was every bit worth the extra $10. I also stayed at your hotel on my way home and loved everything about it as my first stay on my way down.

The only thing I didn't like was I arrived early and did send an email saying I would arrive early and asked if I could check in a tiny bit earlier. I got an email back that said Check in is at 3:00pm (Sarasota allowed me to check in early). When I arrived at 2:30pm there was no one at the front desk and no one appeared until 3:00pm so looks like you guys mean business. : )

The check in staff were very friendly and informative. The breakfast was above average, Location was good.

The person making breakfast had a tip jar in the eating area. Very tacky. They tend to put family with screaming kids on the same floor with single couples which makes for bad sleeping conditions.

I loved the bathroom, the accent walls were classy, the fact you had Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner even though I didn’t use it I noticed it wasn’t cheap stuff, and the bed was amazingly comfortable to the point I’d like to know what mattresses you use so I can buy one . Your breakfast looked amazing we don’t eat that early but good job. Staff was super nice

Pool looked small but I didn’t go in so it’s fine.

Breakfast was good. Large rooms. Love the pillows & beds were very comfy. Got good sleep Love the large bathroom. Everything is clean. Staff very friendly especially Geraldine. Good location.

Sausage may have been vegetable based. Didnt care for it. Eggs & orange juice very good.

Location, value for the price, dog friendly, free parking.

Need to repair things in the room before renting. Shade was broken couldn’t lower and really bright parking lot lights were shining in our room all night. Did not sleep well at all and we had a long trip down here needed to get a good nights sleep.

Front desk Staff very upbeat and friendly. Good Breakfast. Kitchen staff attendant was very nice and helpful.

No Room Safe, (all hotels should have these). The Rooms have very Poor Lighting. Hotel Elevators very loud, don't see any reason for loud chimes at every floor.

I was so glad to have bacon and eggs for breakfast! Birmingham did not serve any the day before.

When I was checking in the agent at the front desk gave me the paws pledge. It states I had to pay a $20 per night non-refundable fee for my dog. Had I known that it was going to cost additional money I would not have stayed at your hotel. It was nowhere in any of the information that I pulled up on the internet. I did not get charged for having my dog in Birmingham. That's the only reason I would not stay at your hotel again.
