6080 Design Hotel by Eskape Collection

The hotel is relatively new. The rooms and the facilities are beautiful, comfortable and well designed. There's a free city shuttle that you can catch to go anywhere in Miami for free and there's a supermarket 10min walking distance.

The checkin was a truly terrible experience. We were received by a young employee called Melina (I believe) that was arrogant and unpleasant. She clearly lacked the proper training to cater guests. The experience was so bad that at some point we asked to speak with the manager on duty (Anna) but we were told that the manager was unavailable/unreachable however we were welcomed to wait indefinitely if we wanted to. This really ruined our initial experience at the hotel. Left a note we wanted to be contacted by manager. We were never contacted. There were no sunbeds available at the beach. Chairs and umbrellas are provided for free, however you have to carry them to the beach. Free shuttle was allegedly available to the beach but it was never offered to us.

Nice big room but we paid for the giant balcony ...the patio furniture was a bit beat up and could use more tables, but really hard to get a big balcony in Miami. Loved the starbucks downstairs, super convenient as we were working from the hotel. The wifi was great. Everything you need in the room in terms of microwave, plates etc.

Bed was pretty hard and not very comfortable, same with the couch. Dryer part of washer/dryer did not work. Water provided did not taste very good.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Accommodating and offered assistance with bags and other things. Valet staff very professional, and very handsome:). Front desk staff fun and kind. balcony in room to sit outside and see ocean… and Collins Ave.

beds hard, sofa bed needs to be cleaned. room filter needs cleaning. bathroom vent needs cleaning, repair, funny smell in room mostly first night.

The room was spacious and well designed. With coffee machine and fridge.

They don’t provide shower gel, only soap and shampoo, not even ear buds or lotions, that other hotel does. The water power is very low, and the room cleaning can be way better. These are not a big deals, just nice to have. The hotel is more for party people.

The property met our needs for our short stay. I have not been to Miami in years so I had no idea where to stay. I had to rely soley on reviews! For starters, the hotel is located on Collins Avenue, but a more quiet end. Away from too much noise & hoopla, but close enough to get in on the action (Lyft/Uber). The value was good for what we needed & what we got. I used booking.com to find the room & had no issues. My reservation was easy to secure & I had no problems checking in. We stayed Mon June 14-Thurs June 17 in an “oceanside” suite w/ a balcony. Please be clear that NO rooms here are “oceanside” as the ocean has another hotel building in between it. You will HEAR the ocean maybe but you will not see it unless you have a room higher than the 4th floor. I was on the 3rd floor & had no view at all but the balcony was nice & looked right out onto the street. Only thing, there is no privacy on the balcony so you will probably make friends with your neighbors lol. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the rooms looked just like the pics online & my daughter enjoyed the small rooftop pool. Would I stay here again? I could stay here again, but next time i’d like to be closer to the action & not have to Lyft/Uber everywhere. If that doesnt bother you then absolutey 6080 Collins is your best bet!

Everything was perfect except for the hotel supervisor Nicole. She was rude, and her attitude was distasteful. Many times while downstairs, she didn't even acknowledge we were in the room. Her customer service needs work, you are supposed to greet guests when they walk in and she does not....she frowns and seems to have an attitude no matter what time of day it was. We stayed for a week and were told we could get an umbrella and towels for the beach across the street....but when we asked Nicole, without explanation she refuses us service and walks away. She was the only thing that made our perfect trip a little displeasureable. Please get her some customer service classes!

I was totally amazed with the beauty and elegance of this hotel. I had a studio kitchenette. Silverware was provided. Glass plates cups, wine glasses, it had a dishwasher , fridge, queen size bed pullout couch. I love that the bed was facing the balcony 😍😍. The only thing I didn’t like was one night there was a light in my room that I could not seem to turn off. I flicked every switch in the room and that light still would not go off. I had to sleep with it on. The next day when a staff member was on my floor, I asked if he could help. Low and behold, he showed me that the switch was on the outside of the room door 🤔. I felt it was odd. So he explained that the room I was in was made for people with disabilities help them with lighting before getting into the room. 😊. Furthermore, I spoke with my friends that were also starting in a different room. And at least you three of them said ohhhhhh I saw that switch and I flicked it to see what it will do 😳😳🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️. I’m like really. All of them said yeah when I saw it didn’t doing anything in the hallway they just left it on 🤣😂😂🤣. I was like wooooooow. My bestie said while I’m in there sleep she’s gonna come flick it on and then run 🤣😂🤣😂😂

Very clean, and very professional

The only thing I didn’t like about the property was the fact that we had to pay $40 for valet parking! There was no regular parking, we HAD TO PAY the $40 per day! I was blind sided about that upon arrival because I didn’t see that in the description while booking! I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights, basically $200 just for parking. Also, it should be at least 2 or 3 ppl in charge of valet parking. At one point we were waiting for someone to come to the desk to bring us our car.. over 15 minutes we were waiting!

The only problem there is extremely thin walls, listening every step and every word that had been said by your neighbours (and especially music that they had been playing at 1 am) didn't really help to rest. Apart of that everything was great
