The Confidante Miami Beach, part of Hyatt

Really cute chic hotel and prime mid beach location great proximity to the beach. Very clean and the gym was fully equipped. I enjoyed break thought brunch was a good value. Bellman, housekeeping, security and the beach crew were very helpful. I appreciated the team leaving me a Birthday card and chocolates made my stay more special and the front desk accommodating an early check in.

Balcony in room and view was not great. Restaurant closed too early. No ice machine in 10th floor. Front desk seemed to not be as excited about reservations from Booking since prices are lower and made mentioned. Pricing/Charges They hold an additional $200 and be prepared to pay the $100 for beach amenities. I stayed at a boutique hotel across the street before and paidless and experience was very similar except being able to have the direct beach access and amenities.

The hotel is in a very good, secure location, close to everything but still quiet. There is a small store and cvs opposite where everything is available. The beach is beautiful and constantly maintained. It is definitely worth choosing a room with a terrace. Rooms are nice size. 2 adults+2 children (10,13) fit comfortably even during longer vacations. It's great that they provide towels at the pool and cold water all day. Buffet breakfast had everything you need. It is worth to book a room included breakfast. Don't even think about other beaches (Hollywood, Sunny Isles, etc.) only Mid or South Beach. We will definately book this hotel again.

All staff (restaurant, reception, pool) are very nice. Except for the beach staff. We were there for 10 days and not once did they ask if they could help. They beckoned us to go to them from afar. It would have been more elegant if they had come to us and asked for the room number if it was so important. Room 915 the AC is extrem noise. Although the pool was clean, by the afternoon a lot of sand had been brought in from the beach. Better attention should be paid to water treatment and filtration because by evening it was no longer pleasant. Parking is very expensive (50usd), better to use puclic parking garage for 20Usd/24 hour

hotel is very cool in a shabby chic kinda way. They put a lot of effort into making this hotel fun from the decor to the drinks. Everyone is welcome here, it's not pretentious but also not corporate or dull. The hotel is vibrant and full of colour, just what you want from a trip to Miami. I also personally liked being a bit further away from south beach - great to visit but nice to escape from.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay great. The Beach access was fantastic. We were even granted free entry to the hotel's NYE bash which was a great time! The food was excellent, the room was clean. The balcony overlooking the beach was a 10/10.

$45 per night resort fees (not included in the original estimate) seemed a bit misleading. Also, a 21% service charge was applied to anything purchased at the hotel for food/drink. Wasn't sure if I also had to tip in addition to the service charge. It was also very hard to get a seat at the pool, and lots of children stayed at the hotel.

We had the most amazing stay! The staff was so welcoming and helpful- my 7-year-old tripped on her own shoe while walking around the pool and a staff member was there instantly with waterproof band-aids, a clean towel and a popsicle to help her feel better. The pool area was perfect, plenty of chairs in both sun and shade. Loved the family pool (adult pool was close by). The beach was absolutely gorgeous! Loved the whole vibe of the resort. Lots of great restaurants nearby and the Bodega across the street had great food to-go plus anything you would need for a beach vacation (sunscreen, groceries, sandals, etc). Truly felt like a Miami Beach art deco gem. I couldn't recommend this place enough! We will be back as soon as possible!

Nothing. Everything was perfect!

We had a breakfast buffet purchased and it was very good (selection of cold cut meat, salmon, cheese, vegetables, porridge). Room was comfortable (12 floor, view on the ocean), as we had 2 separate bedrooms and 2 toilets. Nice bar next to the pool though a bit pricey for me. Helpful staff (we left an electronic device, reported the fact the other day, it had been found and we managed to get it back).

I disliked the fact that despite signs forbidding to consume food while in the pool and keep plates with the food right next to the pool, lots of people did it and staff did not request them to stop.

The location was perfect — right in the middle of everything. I left my car keys there, they where found and shipped to me within 2 days — excellent service.

Room was comfortable — just tab bit dated and the lighting could’ve been a bit better but overall everything was clean and it had everything I needed.

Excellent rooms, facilities and service. Staff was very helpful and found us a beach-facing room since ours was facing the street. Service at the pool and beach very good too.

Although the room includes the beach chairs, you have to pay extra for the umbrellas.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised with how exceptional our stay at The Confidante was. All of the staff was welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful. We took full advantage of the pool service, beach, restaurants, concierge (shoutout to German!), front desk, etc.... and were blown away by how equally amazing everyone was across the board. Whatever management is doing to align their team should be shared with all Hyatt's across the board. I will note that housekeeping comes automatically every 3 days, but you can schedule it every day with guest services. I actually preferred this since we had our 1 year old. We were able to choose the window for their team to come so it never interfered with her (and our) nap times. Our room was perfect for my husband, baby, and I. There was a crib waiting for us when we arrived and it was great for our 1 year old. The room was much more spacious than I anticipated and the wrap around balcony was incredible. Perfect for when we put our daughter down and wanted to have some drinks and quiet time looking out over the ocean. One thing that I wish we would have known prior to booking is that there are 2 pools; an adult pool and family pool. The cabanas are on the adult side. We had rented one thinking it would be great to have our daughter in the shade, but when we realized it was on the adult side, erred on the side of caution and cancelled the reservation. This did not have any effect on how we enjoyed our time at the pool, in fact, we were very happy with the family side setup. The man who was seemingly in charge of the towels, chairs, and umbrellas was so, so helpful with finding us the perfect place to enjoy the pool, but also stay under umbrellas and out of the sun. I wish I could remember his name to give him a proper shoutout. I would also like to shoutout the pool manager, Brandon & our go to pool service person, G. They were both incredible and on top of everything. Thank you!
