Everything except deposit which i am not receive back

Everything was good except only one - they not return me deposit $50. I wait for more than one month. I ask a lot of times about when i will receive and answer was like "soon" or sent me screen that they sent to card which i don't have. So... unfortunately, i will not to return to this place

Staying there was a great experience. The staff was nice especially, Alexandra the hotel manager, Steve the kitchen & Bar manager as well as Jean Ernest and Mckenzie were so nice, and professional. They are great assets for Freehand. They are hard working, and reliable .They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. The drinks were very good, and the foods were delicious. I liked the room and bed. The mattress was very comfortable and my roommates were very nice . Although, I referred many people there at Freehand.

To be honest the only things I didn't like which all my roommates felt the same as well as other guests that i spoke to were the humidity and mold in the room. At times, I couldn't breath well I had stuffy nose , I kept coughing and sneezing throughput the nights as well as my roommates which made it uncomfortable . And also, I needed a blanket to cover at nights because I was feeling cold at nights, and every time I asked for a Blamket, they gave me another bedsheet instead I would suggest that, they provide Blankets for the guests. That would be great. These are the only things I didn't like. Other than that, I like everything about your facility. It's a great environment to be. Thanks for your service!

Freehand is amazing, I love the energy. Very rustic, fun, clear, really good overall. I’ve stayed here multiple times.

The place is amazing, I been to freehand multiple time and I always have a good time. But this time around there was something I noticed different that really killed the vibe. The music choice, really killed the vibe of the place from the early morning at the pool side/ backyard to late afternoon (Im not talking during the happy hour because that would be ok) They play these American hip hop…hardcore that had a lot of profanity, really bad. I’m a young guy and I’m not ok with that imagine older people that is trying to relax with their family. I mentioned to the receptionist, she was very kind but she had no power on that matter. So yes freehand, please be better with your music choice because that was really bad, I had to sit by the pool with my headphones on.

The rooms are clean, spacious, and stylish. The bed is so comfortable, and the bathrobe is a nice touch! We felt so comfortable during our stay. The rooms are also very quiet considering there are so many people in the hostel, that was a great surprise. The courtyard our back is a great place to relax by the pool, with plenty of seating options so it never feels crowded. The pool is great, too, if you don’t want to walk the few minutes to the beach. The proximity to the beach is wonderful, and Freehand provided us with towels, chairs and an umbrella to take with us. Our beach day was perfect thanks to these added touches. The staff are very friendly and helpful, we had good interactions with everyone we encountered. The windows didn’t open in our room, so they offered us another room in which the windows did open which was very accommodating. We also appreciated the bus stops just outside of the building entrance and made good use of the free trolley that stops there every 20 minutes.

It’s busy, so you often have to wait a bit at the front desk. Not a big deal but allow 10 minutes in your schedule to allow for it.

Nice tropical garden & pool area. Dorm bed was well equipped with outlets & light & very cozy bed. Tasty homemade Cuban food at the supermarket counter down the street

No guest kitchen AND no outside food or drinks allowed. Overpriced food & drinks, very expensive dorms around $50+ / night with taxes & fees. One night they closed the entire outside pool area (the main reason to stay here) so that a private group of non-guest could have a private wine party around the pool- and the paying hostel guest were not allowed to join in…very bad look and left many feeling ripped off & disgusted with the total lack of respect for the hostel guest in this instance.

I love the all inclusive environment. I loved the outdoor area and bar. It was absolutely amazing and such a spectacular view in the pool was great. The staff was amazing and accommodating, very friendly, and very courteous. They came to clean every single morning the entire room.

The building is a little outdated, so it might look a little better on the photos rather than what it is. The building has a odd odor, kind of like smelling like funky sea, and it feels very moist and wet like the air conditioning is not that great it’s the only thing that made my stay slightly uncomfortable.

The place was REALLY close to the beach, you can go there just by walking, there is public buses that can drive you to everywhere, and also there is other buses that are for free and you can go take them to go downtown, the bar is amazing, a lot of nice people, there was a karaoke in one of the bars that I loved it. Also there are a lot of bike stations close to the hostel where you can rent them to go for an amazing ride close to the beach. I higly recommend this place.

The plug that was close to my bed was not working very well but I fixed by myself haha

The Hostel is located very closely to the beach with a beautiful outside area and pool. The staff was very helpful and there was parking available with the hostel right around the corner for about $17. Everything was clean and there were lockers available in the room (bring your own lock).

The elevator didn‘t work and the breakfast available in the back area was too expensive for the quality of the food ($12). We also got unlucky with a roommate who was on her phone on speaker from about 6am on, which is obviously not the hostel‘s fault but something to keep in mind even if you book a 4-bed room.

It's right in the centre of town, very easy to walk everywhere or use the free tram service. It's directly across from a beautiful canal. The bar and garden is lovely and exactly as the photos show. The pool was nice and warm. The place has heaps of these adorable little lizards. I really enjoyed hanging in the pool with a beer watching the lizards doing their dance. The staff were able to give us good recommendations for food nearby. The beach is a stone's throw away.

You can hear the music from the nightclub in the rooms. Took a little minute to fall asleep but never woke me up.
