Holiday Inn Express & Suites Niceville - Eglin Area, an IHG Hotel

The room and staff were amazing. I was stuck by a canceled flight at 7 AM. I booked the room and quickly called to see if I could get into the room early and get some rest. The staff quickly put a room together for my partner and I. It was very clean and comfortable and large. And the staff was super kind and accommodating.

The room was mostly very clean but the shower corners and floor of the shower were a bit dirty so I had to wear shower shoes. The breakfast was also all very greasy.

Breakfast was above average, and , Breakfast staff was excellent. Assistant Manger Stephanie was amazing!

When reached the property, I had specially has for the leisure king, because it came with a king bed and a bathtub. Went to the desk they gave me another room with a bath tub with a double bed and bathtub . Went to desk and front desk acted like it was my fault they didn't have toom with king bed and bathtub . Employee Courtni was her name

We chose this hotel because our flight was cancelled and it was very close to the airport. The staff was very accommodating and understanding of our situation, allowing us to store our bags after check out since our departing flight wasn’t until the following evening. They also allowed us to check out late and offered the use of their facilities in between check out and our departure. The location of the hotel ended up being more than just in close proximity to the airport; it was within walking distance to a nature trail and waterfront restaurant. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

The customer service was excellent. Mrs. Jul was so wonderful. She worked the front desk on the 18th of March. I had a medical issue and she checked me in a little early. The room was clean and the breakfast was great. Keep the cook because she does a great job with cooking the food. Good and hot food. I stayed only one night because we were traveling back home but bad weather was a issue. I was at the Comfort Inn for four days but wished that my Spring break was with Holiday Inn that is our usual choice. No complaints here. My stay was only for one night.

We loved everything about this hotel! It was very pretty, extremely good location, beautiful view of the water from our window, quiet, clean... Breakfast on Saturday was awesome! There were eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, gravy, oatmeal, pancakes, fruit, cereal, muffins, bagels, delicious cinnamon rolls, coffee, milk, juice... Sunday breakfast was good but not like Saturday.

The only thing I would suggest is placing a roll of paper towels in the rooms. Actually, all hotel and motels should do this!

Staff was exceptionally friendly and committed to keeping the facility clean. The manger made a point to stop by our breakfast table each day to see how we were doing. The breakfast options were plentiful and well-stocked each day. If the staff continues this level of upkeep, the hotel should remain a great option in this area.

They had a great breakfast, and the room was very nice overall. There is a great view of the bay across the street. The staff was extremely helpful and met all of our requests promptly.

The Booking website showed that we were reserving two double beds for 4 people, but we arrived and found that our reservation was for a King Suite with one king bed and a pull-out bed from the couch. I recommend calling the hotel before booking to ensure you are reserving the correct room. The staff was very friendly and helped us to make the best of the situation, so I can't complain about their service.

Near airport, seemed clean, breakfast was decent

Quite expensive. There was a group of guys hanging out in the parking lot smoking all night while we were trying to use the (outdoor) pool with our 7 yr old son, so that was kind of a bummer, as we could smell the smoke the whole time.. and there were no towels ready down there, had to send my wife back to the room to get towels

I loved the location and the front desk receptionist Mahalia I may have spelled it wrong but she got us In early and I so appreciated her for that

The hard pillows that gave me a headache the lady that served breakfast had a bad attitude didn’t want to greet guest or say good morning that’s the wrong job to work if you don’t want to interact with guest housekeeping very lazy taking advantage of the pandemic I left at 10:30am to have just my bathroom only cleaned came back at 3:30pm wasn’t cleaned had to call front desk then they say we will find a housekeeper send them up but yet I was asked to leave so they could immediately come clean it why get jobs you don’t want to do is the question.......

The staff was so amazing, friendly and welcoming. Everyone I interacted with was super helpful. The beds were comfortable, room spacious.

There’s a lot of wet area leading from the pool to the elevators and on the elevators which could easily be an accident waiting to happen. There should be more absorption near those areas. I also wish the room had a sofa bed rather than a chaise.
