Casa Loma Panama City Beach - Beachfront

Great location on the beach, easy to find, secure parking, safe and clean site. Housekeeping called by daily to change towels, empty bins, provide new coffee etc. Friendly and helpful staff. We had a room with two double beds, bathroom (small but adequate), coffee maker, fridge and microwave. Nice to have a balcony to sit outside.

Unfortunately our room (105) was one of the few with older blinds, not shutters, these were also broken and tricky to close properly. We were located on first floor, so ocean view obscured by garden etc, would have been better to be located on a higher floor. Two chairs and coffee table in the room; a higher table inside or out, would've suited us as needed to finish off some work on my PC, rather than working off lap seated on the bed. Wi-Fi signal stronger by the pool and on the beach than in room. Maybe the option of beach / pool towels could have been provided?

This spot was just beautiful! I especially loved the row of palm trees between balcony and pool/beach. Place has a motel/old school vibe but friendly staff and location wonderful. Rooms have been updated the best they can I think, and have good size mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. I also LOVED that the AC has an option for “continuous fan”, I am woken up all night long in fancier hotels where AC cuts on and off all night. Would definitely stay again.

The front staff is always so nice. This is the fourth time I have stayed here. The location is great. It's nice that it's further away (approximately 200 yards from the next hotel so the beach doesn't get as crowded. I hate that they built 14 beach houses right beside it, crowding the beach, but it's still way fewer people compared to staying at a resort. You can always find a spot. I also like that the pool stays open until 10. It's nice to go to the pool after it's too dark to go to the beach.

The safe was broken in our room. The front desk sent maintenance up right away which was great. However, the maintenance man went down to get something and was going to be right back up but never came back we waited over 90 mins and he never came back. Just wish he was honest about his return. If you can't fix it, I understand, I just don't appreciate my time being wasted. I could've better spent it at the beach or by the pool vs. Waiting around in a room. Other than that the stay was nice.

Beds are a little firm. The biggest thing I didn't like was that they allow smoking in the pool area.

The rooms were clean and spacious. Hotel is right on the beach. Great location. Beautiful views from the balcony and easy access to the beach. Nice pool that even had a chair lift for the handicapped. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

There is nothing I can say bad about this place.

Loved location on the beach and balcony with sunset view! Room was well equipped even had a toaster in the kitchen area. Staff was friendly and helpful. Liked that the room was not carpeted (vinyl laminate) and that there was a broom to help clean up the sand that inevitably gets carried in between housekeeping visits. On-site security presence a plus.

Shower water temperature was a little fickle. Balcony door was hard to close and had gaps around edges.

The location was great. Right on the beach and near restaurants and stores. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There weren't a lot of big hotels nearby , so the beach had plenty of room. Parking was easy and convenient. It was quiet during my stay and there weren't loud noises at night like slamming doors and loud people, like most hotels. I like that too they have security that walks in the parking lot and they are very friendly as well. The price for this hotel is probably the best deal you will find in PCB. I will be coming back next summer for sure. The pool was clean.

An elevator would have been nice, but there was only like 4 floors, so not that big of a deal. The bathroom was small, but definitely not a deal breaker. I will definitely stay again. It's not the hotels fault, but on the beach and at the pool, there were biting flies that were so annoying.

the location was amazing! the beach access was perfect and the views from the room were wonderful.

the bathroom was not cleaned when arrived. there was mold all over the bathroom tiles with dirt, hairs all over the wall and floors, stains in the toilet. the shower leaked the whole trip. we told the front desk to clean the bathroom and check the leak. they never fixed it and never cleaned.

Perfect location, newly remodeled, comfortable, and very friendly staff. It's also really secure, and it's obvious the folks who work here care about the place. We loved having a kitchen to heat up leftovers and make breakfast. We will definitely stay here again.

There could be a little more attention to cleaning and maintaining the bathroom. It's humid, so mold is always going to be an issue, but I was glad I brought bleach spray and a scrub brush to get rid of it in the shower and sink. Everything else was perfectly clean, so I didn't mind taking five minutes to bleach and scrub for my own peace of mind.

The ac was broken in our room. We went down and spoke to the front office and the maintenance man had a new ac unit installed in our room within 20 minutes. Very fast. Perfect location. There is about 200 yards between the next hotel, on either side, which makes the beach less crowded compared to other hotels in pcb.

N/A. It's a bare bones hotel which is what makes it budget friendly. Nothing fancy but the rooms are clean and comfortable and beach front which is all we cared about. We go to the beach to spend the day at the beach not stay in the room. It would be nice if they offered a continental breakfast though.
