Hibiscus Coffee & Guesthouse

Large and comfortable room, we stayed at the "Romance" room (king size bed and it has a Jacuzzi bath tube). Very friendly staff. Beautiful, charming B&B. Free parking available for guests - parking was a difficult in the area, so this was an excellent perk. Close the Grayton State Park, Seaside and other attractions. Walkable area, shops and restaurants nearby. Charming healthy café on premise. Breakfast was good, healthy and home made. Almost vegan but they have a few non-vegan options too.

Quite expensive for the value. I understand that the area is expensive in general, but you are paying a lot per night here and they don't even service or "tide up" your room (although they offer this tide up service on demand). Air conditioning control was shared with the next room ("Tropical Bird"), as well as the kitchen. This was not specified in the room description. I'm OK sharing the kitchen, but the climate control can be problematic. A little far from the beach (10-12 min walk), OK in the evenings for a stroll but not during the day under the sun, heat and loaded with chairs, umbrella, etc. There's no public beach parking so you have to walk. There is a free beach tram in town but I don't think it stopped nearby.

I loved everything else about this place! The location was amazing. The accommodations were so cozy and comfortable. And I absolutely loved The breakfast! I would recommend this place to anyone, Unless Their stay would hinder mine lol! I hope to return one day and try a different apartment.

I wouldn't say I didn't like it. I would say that the bedsheets and bedspread could use an update for a most exceptional experience. Also the light was not on outside and so it was difficult to find. Also the door was a tad difficult to lock. Instructions clearly visible would have helped a little more.

Location was excellent. Free breakfast window of opportunity was limited 8-10 am. Room was very small. No desk or couch. Very cool, chick place. A/C temp control was all or none. I liked it though and would stay again. With tax add on over $300 a night.

Lovely retro accommodations. Breakfast was delicious and more than adequate. The porch outside my room was great for relaxing at night. The location was absolutely perfect- you can walk or ride bikes to anywhere on 30A.

Room was VERY small as well as the bathroom. Retro tub was cute but very impractical, with awkward shower curtain set up and no ledge for soap or handholds. I expected most of this but was a little surprised by the size of the room and the bathroom facilities.

When calling the emergency number, I didn’t get a responses for an hour. I accidentally showed up on the wrong day, though. The manager and I worked it out though

My room took me back to my childhood, when I spent my summer vacation at my grandmother's house. Beautiful House.

Terrific place to stay! Staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed for a week and were most comfortable in Flat 3. Apt had a full kitchen and separate bedroom. Super shower! Very nice complimentary breakfast...Wonderful Waffle as well as frittatas were delicious. Short walk to a pristine sand beach. We plan to return in 2021!

Really have no complaints. Our 1st visit to Hibiscus Coffee and Guesthouse and will return.

Central location on busy, main street. Short walk to everything. Cozy room, comfortable bed, friendly staff.

My room was noisy! I could tell exactly when the people staying above me went to bed ( 2:00 a.m.) and when they got up ( 6:00 a.m. ) from the clop clopping on my ceiling. At one point, it sounded like they were bowling. This is no fault of the management and I don't blame them, but I did not sleep and would not stay in this room (old Florida) again.

It was fine. Fairly standard fare at the Cafe assoc. with the B and B (next door). What WAS disappointing was the fact that ALL of the tea options at breakfast were herbal???? I realize that it's a COFFEE shop and Cafe, but really?? If you're going to offer tea, make it tea.
