The Pearl Hotel

Loved the complimentary valet and chairs/umbrellas at the beach. We recently stayed at another location nearby that charged $87 a day for front row beach chairs (ridiculous). While we loved that location, we appreciated the fact that your beach chairs were first come first serve and that you catered to your Pearl guests and not surrounding homes.

We will most definitely be back and everyone was extremely nice, especially the valet workers. We would have enjoyed a more welcoming indoor staff. No one was rude and everyone was pleasant but knowing who your guests are at the hotel and making sure you greet them when coming and going has a big impact. It’s a small gesture but goes a long way. Again, we had a wonderful stay and will def be back.

The location is perfect if you're staying in Rosemary Beach-- it's right in the thick of it and very lively. Our room was very nice and the bed comfortable, with a lovely view of the ocean from our balcony. The private beach area was great and the service was good. We also liked being able to borrow complimentary bikes to get around the area. Reception was pleasant and helpful, and the restaurant had some decent wines.

What kind of "luxury" hotel doesn't have a proper lobby? Reception is essentially a foyer with one small bench, and it was very crowded most of the time. The restaurant was basic, but so is the majority of the food on 30A. The service at the restaurant was terrible, from the hostess who purposely moved at a glacial awkward pace to the servers who would disappear for 15 minutes at a time, even to bring a simple side of ketchup. There is no gym on site, and we found the pool super depressing. The "rooftop" bar is on the 2nd floor and most tables do not have any kind of view.

Great location. Very central can walk or bike to everything. The staff was super nice and very accommodating. They helped me with the Wi-Fi on my work computer when it wouldn’t connect and gave us a guide with the best places in town. Great views (our balcony view of the pool was top tier we could see the ocean it was beautiful), mini bar and amenities were incredible. Free water, samples of drinks and free sunscreen and after sun gel at the pool was a plus too loved it! The bed was so comfy and they provided us with robes and a bag for the beach plus free beach access. I will most definitely be back here!

The restaurant at the hotel had a very long wait and the hostess was not accommodating at first but was after I told her we were guests at the hotel she had a shocked look on her face and changed her attitude which I found offensive. Also, 30 minutes later after saying we only had a 10 min wait we were finally seated. There was no area to wait but stand in the lobby it was a bit awkward. Food was sub par but our server Rico was THE BEST. One of the best servers I’ve had my whole life honestly he was nice, gave great recs, made conversation and went above and beyond.

The concierge, Wendy, was very helpful. There isn't anything she won't tackle, from transportation to finding out where to get meds. The Havana restaurant was top shelf. The food was fresh and well prepared. The wait staff was professional and responsive to your needs. One of the only restaurants where I could eat gluten free. They actually inquire about food allergies. The turndown service was so cute, and left us delicious cookies every night.

Although everything is within walking distance, there are still opportunities for business improvement. If you wanted to explore other beaches, transportation needs to be arranged. Uber and Lyft are unreliable. Private drivers are expensive. $3.00 per mile. Although transport using a driver from the airport was less by half the cost of an airport shuttle. For the price of the room I expected coffee and water to be complimentary. We were charged daily for these 2 amenities in addition to what we billed to the room. Might want to re-think this service.

The hotel was beyond our expectations. We loved the location, the entire area is quite unique. Our lunch/breakfast was excellent with great service. We enjoyed a few drinks on Sunday evening and had found the bartender very entertaining to watch, she was amazing. Our room, our view from the balcony were all fantastic. I honestly cannot say enough about this hotel and look forward to visiting Rosemary beach and stay at The Pearl.

You cannot beat the location of the Pearl in Rosemary Beach it’s perfect! We enjoy visiting each year as a family :) The access to the community pools and Watersound Beach Club is great and the staff is top notch and very accommodating!

The location is amazing and makes this the “close to perfect” stay. The friendly staff, the cleanliness, the decor, good smells, all contributed to a really great stay. The extra touches like the turn down service, the beach chairs and towels fun treats left in our room, all made it feel luxurious. I would come back in a heartbeat. It’s not cheap but worth the splurge.

There were a few small things that would have made our stay better. The hot water ran out a couple times (or became lukewarm). Our room, 215, seemed quite humid at times and was hard to cool down. The patio door didn’t have a great seal, so you could hear the wind and noises outdoor. That may have also contributed to our room feeling humid. The air conditioner didn’t seem to work great.

It was an excellent Hotel, The service, quality and uniqueness was comparable to a larger resort. Already booked a return trip in December.

Heated pool in summer was not refreshing from a day at the beach.

This was our second time staying at the Pearl and it was excellent as it was the first time. The customer service at the hotel was absolutely excellent.

it’s location is perfect. rooms are gorgeous, loved the friendly and helpful staff, great restaurant. loved the turn down service and cookies!! loved the private beach access and chairs.
