Aloft - Tampa Downtown

Customer service was really great. I was given a room with a view of riverwalk which was nice to wake up to. The location is perfectly centered between Armature Works and Sparksman Wharf. It was also very walkable as well.

Access to more umbrellas in the pool area. I was told that the umbrellas were on a First come/First serve basis but there were a number a chair sets that had the umbrella settings attached to them.

Entering your property, please give better directions. Because you didn’t I ended up at riverside, everything thing there was way better including the valet parking. Your valet stated to me , I am too busy to park or move your car. The valet at riverside moved my car, and gave me directions to your hotel, Then at the u-turn light, your valet cut me off on the u-turn to get into the hotel parking lot, swung double wide on a u- turn.

Location of the hotel was smack dab in the middle of downtown. It was close to the riverwalk, restaurants, nice walking, bars and great pool.

The comfort of the room could have been better. Not only did we not sleep because of the excessive traffic at night, the rooms had no drawers or storage, and felt a little cramped.

That whole breakfast thing is terrible...only bread sandwiches no accommodation. Breakfast cook was very rude about me not eating bread and was upset at me asking for just eggs bacon and sausage w no bread. Then al of a sudden she don't speak English lol....

Everything but the breakfast cook. Pool was amazing, bar and Bartender was great. Rooms are 2nd to none.

The valet parking guys were super nice! And that was the first thing we encountered at our stay at aloft! The rooms were decent, and it was also right by everything you need to do if you’re going to do downtown Tampa type stuff!

The pool was definitely not “family friendly “. It was more of like a 20 something year old party spot for the most part. Which is totally fine and would’ve been really cool, if we didn’t have our two young children with us! But we did really like it! It really wasn’t bad, I just felt as if my kids were probably getting on everybody’s nerves at the pool!

staff and valet was kind and helped with any questions that we had. rooms were ok. pool area was nice. the breakfast was pretty good. hotel itself is a nice place. over all I would stay again.

its advertised dog treat are in rooms but there was none. and the drinks were not made correctly . need training on how to make drinks like margarita's properly. have to walk a little ways for your fur babies to "use it" have to pay extra for valet parking. the building is on the corner so beware or you'll pass it.

Staff at front desk are wonderful, Chianti and a woman (didn't catch her name), both super friendly and helpful. Room was not ready when we checked in so was given a coupon for free drink at bar (which is great area). Location is fabulous, on Riverwalk, just over bridge from Univ of Tampa. Room is good size, we had great view of river. Gym is decent.

The walls are a bit thin. There were some folks down hall we could hear in evening and again when they were leaving a 2 am. Otherwise, I would rate hotel as excellent.

Location was perfect for visit with daughter at UT. Did not need a car because walking distance to not only the school but several restaurants and bars. The pool and deck area was beautiful as was the bar area. We spent so much time just people watching as we overlooked the river and Riverwalk. Great setup was comfortable for lounging. Rooms were clean, bed comfortable, and shower was large.

Bathroom vent system allowed us to hear other rooms’ conversations.

I like many parts But ,The staff was Amazing .Unique look of the location .

There was an issue with my reservation in witch they was not able to fix due to it was made through booking sight .So I then asked if they had another room and the where not able to offer another room .Due to they are full .So it was a room with one bed .Thought to be two by me. There was three of us and one bed. So since they did not have a room .I asked for a refund the lady said sure and then . Come to find out You still have to pay the cost of the room . The fees are the refund .I just think this one could have been handled better .We did end up all staying in the small room since there was no refund and we ended up having a great stay at your location .

The location, the wxyz bar, comfy beds, a nice place to stay.

I paid extra for riverview room. You could see the river barely from one side of the window. But being on 2nd floor, not much of a river view, mostly saw concrete right outside. The door to the bathroom should have a handle or something on the inside. Hard to shut from the toilet side.
