La Quinta Inn Tampa Airport Stadium Westshore

When I spoke to one of the employees at the front desk on sept2 at 3 am the young female clerk I showed her my info of my booking and instead of me checking in early and I wouldn’t mind paying a fee she decided not to help us and i had to wait but an employee at the front desk a male allowed me to check in as long as I pay a fee he was the better employee.the younger one I had a problem with she didn’t help not one bit.and I didn’t check in until 9 am so I had to stay up late until 9 to check in but other than that my stay was good.my only issue is that young female employee

IHOP next door

My first room had a fast drip of water that continuously was dripping on the second bed in the room. Tried calling desk I was put on hold for 30 minute, I walked up to the desk with my phone still on hold, the desk person was in the back. I complained that I was still on hold he denied that there were no calls on hold I even showed him my phone that I was still on hold. I complain about the drip and I was moved around to the back of hotel where construction was going on. Overall quiet. My God I had to walk a mile to the ice machine. Smh.

LOCATION. It is very near Tampa Airport and Raymond James Stadium It has a restaurant at the right side and it has restaurants, pharmacies, gas station nearby. It is also very close to the highway. The room is spacious and comfortable. It has free parking.

Our room smelled too much like cigarettes. They are renewing and updating the hotel and wi-fi were not available. Some rooms are not available due to the updating work on site. But this is minimum considering the convenient location.

The dirty floors

Desk staff and breakfast staff were helpful. Cleaners were not so polite. Hotel is old, but cleaning could have been more thorough. All in all, fine for what it is (3 star hotel). Actually, nicer than a 4 star we had stayed at, previously.

Room wasn't as clean as it should have been. Room needs a deep cleaning, and then, day to day maintenance. Cleaning staff almost rude, when I asked for clean towels (we didn't have them changed fit the first two days. I speak some Spanish so it wasn't a language problem.

The hotel have a very convenient location. It is very near the airport and the Raymond James Stadium. We traveled to attend a concert on the stadium and the location was amazing. There is also an Ihop immediate to the hotel so it is also very convenient. There is also free parking on the hotel.

being a little flexible on the 3:00pm check in. I know the check in policies but in places like New York the staff check if there is an available room if guest arrive a few minutes before and try to accommodate them. This wasn't the case and it seems is kind of normal in Orlando except for Disney Resorts. We arrived at 2:45pm an the staff told us in a "not welcoming" way that check in was at 3:00pm and that we have to come back a later time. I have no problem with this because I know it is the policy but I would appreciate a nicer way to approach guests.

The sliding bathroom door

No closet no phone no iron or iron board.only 1 ice machine and it was broke and way in the middle of the other hotel area.it shouldn't b a connecting door to another door..the shower water was cold..never got hot.it tool too long to check in.and when I asked for a iron I was told they will get back with me and nothing..only one light for the whole room..Horrible

Close to airport which is nice after a flight at 11 pm and the shuttle driver got there very quickly. The nighttime desk clerk was super kind and gave us a different room on the ground floor so we didn’t have to walk across the lot and up a bunch of stairs. Also liked the better quality soap and shampoo than in other motels.

Needed Better breakfast options and larger coffee cups.

A little tired but ticked all the boxes we needed to just crash after our flight and pick up car the next day. Great shuttle service, which you need to ring for inside the airport and wait at collection point. breakfast also basic but ticked the box. staff were great. No restaurant or bar on site but close by. Good size room.

the property was great for the price, ihop right next door, mall within walking distance. staff very pleasant and helpful

I wish they would have cleaned the pool in the morning before visitors decide to go to pool. I did not go in water because I felt it should have been cleaned. meaning cleared of bugs and debris.
