Ramada by Wyndham Tampa Westshore

we arrived at 2:00 am and the parking lot was full . We were so tired and aggravated about the flight , the rental car and now a full lot . The gentleman working the front desk and the gentleman that was part of security went out of their way to make our check in so stressless and gave us an employee ( the employee was off) spot to park . The rooms were really clean and everything went great so great job guys wish I had gotten names but they were working at 2:00 am on May 27th , 2023 . o would recommend this hotel to anyone . The room was okay, nothing fancy but it did have an odor of being musty and the electronic key lock didn't work (card continued to not work after two trips back to the front desk).

I had a 0640 flight out of Tampa International. The hotel shuttle doesn't start that early, so I used Uber for the 3.3 mile ride to American Airlines - Uber cost was $32 not counting the tip. Their restaurant and bar are closed but fortunately several nice restaurants are located within walking distance (2 blocks) from the property.

The staff was great and friendly. They checked me in and out extremely quickly. I also like the location of the motel.

My room wasn’t that clean. The floor in the bathroom was dirty as well as the shower. The room also had a weird smell that I can’t put my finger on what it was. The courtyard/outside the room could have been better lit as well. There was also a lot of guests smoking weed outside their rooms so the smell was strong every time I went outside. I don’t think I’ll be going back to be honest. It wasn’t a horrible stay but it could have been better for the price I paid.

The hotel is very close to the airport a five-minute drive. The bed was so comfortable I got a great night's sleep. The room was clean and big with a mini-fridge and tv. The bathroom was big and the shower was fantastic it was a perfect size for me. The staff at the hotel are top notch I got there at 730 am but they couldn't accommodate an early check in but they did let me stay and rest on the sofa in the lobby and got me in a room by 10am. The next day I had a late flight and they stored my bag for me while I went on a little adventure and then when I returned they got me to the airport.

The hotel is super close to the airport so you do here the planes taking off and landing. The restaurant was closed so you have to eat off site but luckily there is a mall within walking distance and a waffle house and maggiano's, PF Changs, Chipotle and other places to grab a bite.

Ms Odalis, was wonderful, she made the trip excellent So helpful, professional & laugh w us & smiled Helped w room & transportation w info, she was very knowledgeable The hotel was nice & the food. The lobby was very nice, the eating area left u unsure of the quality of how the rest of the hotel might look But we did like our room, thx!

The appearance of the eating area-cafeteria It has a diff appearance or touch than the lobby But yet not bad for it purpose Maybe it the atmosphere of it, if that a better word For the record, lobby chairs are all stain Get your attention because of covid-cleanliness But overall, nice, enjoyed our stay, staff was nice,thx!

Cleanliness, comfortable beds, continental breakfast and helpful housekeeping staff

Man who checked us on told us airport shuttle every 1/2 hour including the evening. We questioned him in detail because one member of party was flying out that night and I wouldn't have to drive to the airport. Other staffer at 8:15 told us that in evening only left on the hour. So, I had to drive. Since shuttle was one of the reasons I booked this motel, I was not happy. Little convenience store in hotel was not open and staff could not open for a quick purchase. Since restaurant not operational using store would have helped.

The room was awesome. The bed was comfortable and the ac worked wonderfully and there was little noise. The room was clean the bathroom was nice. I think the tub will need a little painting soon but I was very comfortable. I do think there needs to be a few towels to use as rugs in the room and not just the bathroom.

Tub was flaking and I needed more towels for the floor. Other than that I enjoyed it.

Areas which you walk from desk, vending machines, ice machine hallways were very dark and uncomfortable during night walk to room or mentioned areas. Even the entry to my room area was way too dim. From desk agreed but failed to let shuttle know I was waiting at airport; the driver had over hear conversation and circled by anyway. front desk failed to agreed 4am wake-up room call. I had a 7:25am flight. Front desk team was sincerely apologetic.

The staff was friendly. Check in was quick and easy. My room was clean and comfortable. Close to the stadium, restaurants and stores. I’ve read the bad reviews and thankfully my experience was the opposite of those.

It’s an older property so of course everything isn’t perfect. The AC randomly made loud noises but it kept the room cool and didn’t prevent us from sleeping.

Although close to the RJ Stadium we weren’t sure how we’d get there but there was a company running a shuttle on game day. It was a little pricey but we would have paid that for parking at the game and it was worth not having to deal with the traffic. Picked us up at the hotel and dropped us off there after the game. It was separate from the hotel shuttle which only serviced the airport.

It was an older hotel with doors all facing the outside and facilities were older but were fine for a couple days and about $200 less than the hotels around us. No breakfast facilities either but a nice breakfast only restaurant was access the street.
