SpringHill Suites Tampa North/Tampa Palms

We loved the location of the hotel, it was 10-30 minutes of everywhere we wanted to go! There’s also a gas station, restaurant, and some more stuff right down the road if you just wanted to take a little stroll. It was very quiet the majority of our stay and our room was huge, plenty of room for my boyfriend, best friend and my toddler to all move around without getting in each others way. The pool was almost empty the entire time were were there which was great, we def thought there’d be more people with it being peak season but it wasn’t overcrowded at all. 10/10 a better option than trying to cram everyone into the guest room at my uncles house lol

I feel like the front desk women were a little annoyed which is totally expected (we all know what they have to put up with) while we were checking in, and at almost 1am after a 15hr road trip we couldn’t even process what was happening. Also, I kind of wish they’d left the coffee bar out a little longer, like just until maybe 9-10 am 😅 I know breakfast closes before that and it’s totally just me being picky but it would’ve been a godsend lol

The location, the look, the atmosphere of the hotel, the breakfast, the staff, I LOVE SPRINGHILL!!!! My sister stayed at this hotel earlier this year as she visited her son/my nephew and his family. They live a couple of minutes from this location. So when we went to Tampa, she highly suggest we stay, and we did and we were so pleased and impressed, whenever we visit Tampa we will stay here!!!! Thank you Springhill staff!!!!!

The only thing I didn't like was we only stayed 1 full night, got there Tuesday, and left Thursday morning... we didn't know housekeeping didn't tidy the room for such a short stay. But it was ok. We tidied our own room, threw out trash, and got a few fresh towels. ALL TOWELS RECEIVED WERE RETURNED!!!! That was the only thing we didn't like, and that was because we weren't aware of that.

There wasn’t any trash can in the bathroom to leave personal hygiene items in. you had to take them into the shower room. the split toilet room and shower room was inconvenient in the morning for the other person still trying to sleep. And, the desk clerk said complementary breakfast was 6-7:30, when we got to the lobby at 6:45 nothing but oatmeal and coffee was available and nobody was there at the desk or lobby to ask if anything else was available. No fruit, juice, eggs, bread, sausage, pancakes-nothing. we could have had oatmeal and coffee in the room…but we can’t eat it, on our no carb requirements.

it was clean, quiet, it was convenient to everything. The staff was honestly the best! The front desk staff was honestly one of the best we have ever encountered. Each one honestly made you feel so welcomed and exemplified hospitality; cheerful, friendly, courteous. Delores was the epitome of hospitality. She was one of the highlights of our stay.

Honestly, the breakfast. We understand that with Covid things probably changed for the safety of all. the individually wrapped egg/jalapeño muffins instead of eggs and breakfast meat was disappointing. especially if you can’t eat jalapeño. we ended up going out every day which did lead us to two really great spots: The Bean Bar and the Brunchery.

The employees starting from the receptionist to the cleaning woman and the people that worked in the kitchen for the breakfast were excellent. The please was extremely clean including the gym and the swimming pool area.

Upgraded and clean facilities. Double queens with sofa bed rooms were very spacious and comfortable. We had 2 for a family trip, which each had a different yet beautiful layout. Staff very friendly and responsive. Breakfast was very good with plenty options. We felt safe here.

I’m a deep sleeper but the loud AC woke us up multiple times. My husband was unhappy with the shower water pressure but I was fine with it.

Breakfast was nice and hot every morning. It really saved us a lot of money. The beds were very comfortable. Nice hot shower and the rooms were clean and spacious.

I really enjoyed my stay until the last day. Spring Hill Suites should really consider having a separate floor for the guest with animals. We were awakened at 7 am by two loud barking dogs that barked until we checked out at 11. It was very annoying and when we left our room, the hallway reeked of dog poop. I didn’t see any but it was definitely a loud pungent smell that was not there before. It was extremely frustrating that we were not able to sleep in before check out especially since we had a 12 hour drive to get home. This was the perfect stay until the dogs were brought on the hall.

The breakfast was great considering most other facilities are not offering as many items as you are during Covid. The rooms were great and comfortable.

Didn't really like that loud dogs are allowed to stay at this motel. While we stayed here for 11 days, had multiple instances where a dog below our room barked consistently for periods of time without the owner stopping it. Called to complain a couple of times. I should not have to continually call to have a dog/guest to be quiet.

Big room, clean, very great personal. I arrived at the hotel, detached the trailer and gave the car for repair, I thought the repair would take a couple of days. But the dealer took the car for two months, I don’t know what to do with the trailer, he stayed in the hotel parking lot and I could not pick it up. I came to the hotel manager, told me what happened and I can't pick up the trailer, but the manager said no problem, let it cost as much as you need, I offered to pay for parking, the manager refused me and in response offered to help with housing, offered a discount on accommodation. I was surprised and very grateful to this attitude towards my clients.

The room was spacious and very clean. The staff greeted us every day as we left and entered the building. The breakfast was pretty good, but only went until 9 a.m. on weekdays. I enjoyed the pool, which was quiet and secluded!

nothing, everything was good. It was a little off the beaten path - with stores etc. about a mile away. But that made it a quiet stay.
