Hampton Inn & Suites Tampa-North

The suite was great. Very clean and spacious. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good. We loved making our own waffles...especially with all the goodies on them. Jose and Rudulfo (the shuttle drivers) were so nice and friendly. They talked to us which alot of them do not. They gave us a lot of valuable information about the parks. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit which will be soon.

That the pool closed so early.

The room was great bed was comfortable and building had a home vibe about it. Will definitely be staying a third time.

Only thing was the breakfast was cold

The hotel was in very convenient to USF and it was easy to get to many places in Tampa . The facilities were lovely and the staff very helpful. The bed was extremely comfortable. We weren't able to use the pool as it rained every day but it was ice and secluded.

Everyone is always so nice. We ended up staying another day. We actually stayed in March and ended up getting the same room. The shuttle drivers are all so sweet. Every time we go to Busch Gardens, we stay here and will continue staying here.

We had to go home

We had booked last year with a nearby hotel that we had liked and we're visiting the area again. We noticed that Hampton Inn & Suites -Tampa North prices were a little cheaper and we thought we would try it after seeing past reviews. We were not disappointed. We found the staff friendly and enjoyed comfortable accomodations. Our room and the facility (including laundry area) were clean and they took necessary precautions because of Covid; especially with breakfast (gloves offered) and elevator etiquette. As for breakfast, there was a large variety of foods including chicken and waffles. It was nice that they had two waffle makers, so that you did not have to wait too long. The attendant kept up with the food as well as disinfecting the tables. They have a store that offers a small variety of items. They had what we needed but if you need something else, you can visit a convenience store up the road. We enjoyed our stay and would book at this location again.

Not sure if is a did not like but rather it would have been nice to of had a bin for recycling. There may have been one there but I did not see it and there was not one in our room.

The staff was so awesome, welcoming and helpful. We loved our master suite with kitchen and pulled out sofa. I was with my daughter for a track meet at USF and the location and facilities were perfect.

Loved the people, the surrounding park, the breakfast and the place

When you’re visiting a hotel you shouldn’t have to be worried about housekeeping. You’re supposed to “alert” them if you need it. It should be the other way around.

the only negative I can say is the pillows… your head sinks completely through at least 5 of them. but no problem, I went to Walmart and bought a firm one and was good to go.

Rooms are big and spacious. Good breakfast. Rooms Are separate from living room with their own locked door and a couch bed.

The morning breakfast could be improved but it appeared to be a problem with speaking English. I asked for scrambled eggs, which I was given, but not asked if I wanted anything else and since I was behind a counter, I did not know what choices there were. Muffins, bagels, toast were all in containers that I could not see. Coffee station was backed up because it could only serve one person at a time, especially when guests were trying to safely space. Suggest that it be spread out further.
