SpringHill Suites by Marriott Augusta

The hotel was great. The staff was exceptional. And the breakfast was delicious. The rooms were clean, well stocked and very spacious.

As guests, my family and I were disappointed with the quality of the heat in the room as it was extremely cold during our stay and it barely heated the room. We have stayed at the hotel twice and during both stays, the guests above us were extremely noisy all hours of the day and night. The first stay, we called the front desk and nothing was done so we didn't call the second time as we didn't believe anything would be done again.

The breakfast was a great plus. The property seemed to be very secure. In todays time and the events that's happening around us, having that security is something we all look for. I felt secure there even though I didn't see any security officer at all.

The only concerns I had was the security. What if someone forgot something in there car, and had to go to their car at night. with no security that could be un-nerving mainly for the elderly. I also think there should be a bell or something at the front desk. I had to stand there for several minutes waiting on someone to come because so I was told, the lady went to the rest room and I had to wait for about 3 to 5 minutes. I did not know this until another lady happen to come by. We didn't know why or what was going on and there was no bell for the ones that was in the back.

Everything was great. No issues really.

If I had to say anything negative about the stay, it would be that the door peep holes were not covered and there is a large gap under the door. Often could hear everything in the hall and the hall light shown through the door peep holes like lasers cutting through the dark.

The night we stayed, got a call from front desk clerk talking about noise disturbance coming from our room. When she booked room, I didn’t think about having a 2 year old with us and shouldn’t have never been booked on top floor. Now I know to never let that happen again! Also, we didn’t get breakfast because basketball players/etc had entire area filled.

Front desk clerk asked lots of questions and never discussed breakfast time, no directions to elevators and other areas of hotel.

I found out that I don't get my Marriott points if I book with Booking.com! This is my first time using this website. I did make multiple reservations but will need to cancel them and book on the hotel site itself. I enjoy getting my points for free nights. Too bad this bit of information wasn't transparent from the beginning as I didn't get credit for last nights stay at this nice hotel!

The way you have to shop online for a better price. When I called the hotel, the price was quite a bit more.

Breakfast was very good

The only thing I didn't like was the noisy guest that were in the room above. They were letting their kids run and jump until very late in the night. My husband went to the front desk and was told that they would take care of it. But it still continued. As a matter of fact we think that it got worst.

The staff was very friendly and inviting. The hotel was very clean and the decor was beautiful! Breakfast exceeded our expectations.

I overheard an employee telling another employee that she would restock breakfast items after one specific guest left the area. Everything else was awesome!

The breakfast is ok. Likely consistent with other hotel lines. Earlier start times could support those that start their work day earlier.
