Super 8 by Wyndham Byron/South Macon

The booking showed a hot breakfast. They have NO breakfast and did not give a discount for not serving what they advertize. Do you not check for false statements? When i book I expect the truth in advetizing.

We stayed on the first floor so we could be near to our vehicle. It's close to many restaurants so you can park your car and walk to go for a meal. The hotel advertises that there is a breakfast but evidently it has not been providing breakfast for awhile but has not updated the website. As the road in front of the hotel is quite busy, we opted to stay in a room at the back of the building which was a good choice. We got a "much" cheaper rate on-line than when we made the inquiry for a room at the front desk. The property suited our needs for the night and we would stay again.

The lock on our door wasn't that great. Didn't secure the door very well - should be addressed. Other than that we had no issues. Could use a better blanket on the bed. Very thin.

The rooms were cleaned. The decor was charming and I was certainly surprised at the quality of the room based off the price. It was a pleasant surprise. The beds were a little firm, but more comfortable than the beds at the more expensive hotel across the street. It was located right next the interstate, so I had no difficulty finding it.

Housekeeping tried to come at 8:30 on my last day which woke me up. Other than that it was a great stay.

Staff are very pleasant and again treat you like family. If you are a female and traveling alone they make sure to put you in a room where they can make sure you are safe. Breakfast was great. Wifi and TV worked great. Room was comfortable. Clean and perfect for traveling for school. Beds were super comfy and linens/sheets were clean. Will be back

We were searching for a quiet, clean, and decent place to rest for the night. We were kindly welcomed and was very pleased to see that our room was beyond our expectations. We paid an amazing rate for the quality of the Super 8 by Wyndham. The room smelled fresh and clean as it was just that and more. We rested well, loved the location, and the people therein. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. We hope to see you again soon.

Both check-in and check-out staff were very helpful and I appreciated their help with my questions.

Breakfast was specifically included in the advertising. There was no breakfast. I think that should have been explained when the booking was made. At the very least when breakfast is indicated on the booking and websites there should be a carry out option available. Since I was counting on the breakfast being available it meant I had to change my schedule to accommodate that. A roll and juice in a bag would have been fine.

The free Wi-Fi here is almost 200mbps! Amazingly fast. I booked this hotel for the Wi-Fi and was able to transfer 250 GBs of data from one iPhone to another in only a few hours. Great value for such a clean hotel. Thanks.

Washer and dryer wash broken a few months ago and is still broken but everything else is perfect for this price point.

Really liked the room. The single king, with a couch, table & chair provided the space I needed! It was nice and quiet, so I got the rest I needed after a long day on the road! Staff were nice, friendly and helpful!

The breakfast was kinda meh! But for the price, I'll take it! Food is secondary!

The price was good and had a lot of ice machines which was good for us traveling with coolers. Other than that can't complain right off the highway for easy access

The pool wasn't open but not a big deal was just hoping my son could use up some energy after being in the car for hours.

The lady who checked us in was very nice. we did a late check-in and was out by 7. This was just a place to lay our heads while traveling from KY to Florida. The location was perfect for us and the room was very clean. The beds were a little hard but I think that is what you expect from economy lodging.
