Jameson Inn and Suites Hazelhurst

Upon arrival, the female owner (I assume) was working the desk. She was almost stereotypical while she explained to me that I was to leave my CC # for incidentals which I was already aware of due to booking.com who quoted $100 yet she quoted $200. I implored to her that I was there for a funeral not to have a frat party. She went on to advise me that "this is what a lot of guests say" and I found that very unnecessary; especially due to my age and appearance. The other younger desk clerks were very cordial and helpful. Thank you! Lots of noise in the night and early toward the morning across the hall. I had requested a nice quiet spot because of the reason behind my visit. It worked out and I wasn't far from my places to be. Praise GOD for a safe trip there and back home safely.

The owner's tone.

The breakfast was nice, it compares to other hotel breakfasts. The owners were very nice, eager to ensure we had a pleasant stay. Always inquired when they saw us- they were very nice. It is an older-style hotel, but it is kept up very nice clean decent mattress. You are in a safe environment, and for a very low rate, you get a clean, comfortable, safe place to stay.

Nothing, it is an older style hotel- they have kept it clean and maintained.

The owner was exceptional. He responded quickly to requests and needs, This was a girls softball team and he was very accommodative to our needs as a group.

The bed could have been more comfortable but the room was very clean. Housekeeping seemed a little limited ( we were there 3 nights) and the room was not vacuumed or new towels left by housekeeping. But we were quickly given clean towels by the front desk when requested.

Breakfast was good,location great

Only a slight inconvenience in that I love coffee and in late afternoon and later the coffee would only be warm,but I could heat it in microwave ! Coffee tasted great though

The staff was very friendly and helpful.

You should have decaf coffee as well as regular coffee, my wife cannot drink anything with caffeine. We did kill 2 small roaches in the room during our 2 day stay.

No complaints! Front desk staff (owner) was super friendly and nice. Will definitely use hotel again if we stay in the area. We had a small box truck and the parking was more than adequate for my needs.

It would have been nice if they had bacon and sausage for breakfast but what they had was still good.

The only issue I had was that the tub could have been cleaned a little better and there was no breakfast at all, not even coffee.

Maybe an added protein for breakfast like sausage patty or link. Still, the breakfast was excellent.
