Alpine Village Inn

Good location and we were able to walk everywhere, really cute buildings and outdoor area, spacious and comfortable room

The floor in the room was splitting in some parts, the lights were very dim and flickered occasionally, and the TV wasn’t to best quality.

Nothing fancy but for the price you paid for it’s decent enough to stay for couple days. The owners who live downstairs are very kind and will tell you good places to eat and where to go. This place is close to everything. It’s walking distance to get to one place to another. Give this place a chance as it seems they are trying to upgrade some. The good thing isn it’s not a carpet floor. If you’re up for a deal then this place is not too bad . As you can see their hotel prices are cheap so don’t expect too much. It’s just simple logic . I would highly recommend this place to people that aren’t so picky and just enjoy life without complaining.

Her office help wasn’t at desk when we arrived. She was out cleaning rooms. So of course she couldn’t answer the phone and check everyone in but other than that I love it

Location was perfect! Room was very dark and dated, but comfortable and affordable for our quick trip. I would stay there again.

Room was dark, bathroom needs an update. Small bathroom and no air vent, needs more lighting, and a deep clean on fixtures (my cleaning opinion).

Perfect location; walking distance to the crystal-clear river, a park, tubing rental places, shops, restaurants, ice cream, and the mountain coaster. Very quiet, friendly and safe atmosphere. The room was very big. There were three teenagers with me and none of them complained about the walking distance. The room smelled clean upon entering.

The chain was missing from the door, but the other two locks worked just fine. There was an open soda bottle in the fridge from the last guests. It was in the back, so probably just an oversight. There was an adorable dog beside the fire pit, but he/she did not want to play with me. Otherwise, it was a nice, safe conveniently located place to stay. It was not the most updated hotel, but I had read some of the reviews before booking and knew what to expect. Overall, I enjoyed it as it was a very good value. Unrelated to the hotel, but important to know: Many of the restaurants were not open - or closed early. We were told this was because it was Monday / Tuesday.

Everything was absolutely perfect about this stay. Very safe location, central to downtown with many restaurants and shops within walking distance. The staff were sweet as can be, and would have nightly bonfires where the guest were welcome to socialize.

The location is great. Walkable to everything in Helen! Vernon and Lyndsey were super nice. Fire every night on patio, Christmas decor was so cute, rooms were so clean. It was cold and rainy, but room was warm and even in the wet weather they had a warm fire going! We loved it!

The weather!!! But we still had a great time. Walked everywhere and enjoyed all of it.

The room was so spacious and comfortable. it felt extremely clean and well maintained. The owners consistently asked me if I needed anything.

the wifi isn’t the best, but I wasn’t here for work, so it wasn’t a big deal.

The location was great for a walk to downtown. The exterior was adorable with the Bavarian look but the inside was up to date and comfortable. It was adequate for the 1 night.

Both lights went off above the sink but 1 did come back.

The Inn had a great deal of character on the exterior. They also provided a nice gathering space for relaxing in the evening. We were able to play pool and cornhole or sit at a table on the patio. It was in close proximity to everything in town, so once we arrived, we never had to move our car.

The Inn is definitely old, and some of the interior features had not been updated. There were cigarette burns on the tub and toilet. One of the window panes was falling out when we arrived. The ceiling in the bathroom above the shower appeared to be leaking. The A/C unit air does not shut off. On "stop," it still blows.
