Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Macon West, GA

The hotel seems new and was very clean. Checkin was quick and easy, once we got to the desk (there was a customer who had some issues ahead of us and only one employee working). The room was large and smelled fresh. We were traveling with an e-bike and they allowed us to keep it in our room overnight (there was no separate bike storage). Breakfast was a notch above most complimentary breakfasts. There were 6 hot items, warm cinnamon rolls, and the standard cereals, oatmeal, fruit (the bananas looked like they were ready for banana bread...too ripe for me). There's even a diy pancake station with a griddle but that was out of order.

The a/c in the room was noisy. It woke me up several times because it was vibrating loudly. Also, there were only a few sheets of toilet paper on the roll in our bathroom and no extra rolls anywhere (we searched the room). Luckily, we discovered it before it became an issue in the middle of the night. My husband went to the front desk to get some and nobody was there so he snagged a roll from the restroom in the lobby.

The lady at the counter was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and there were sufficient outlets for electronic devices. The microwave and refrigerator both worked.

Breakfast was mediocre, eggs were dry and overcooked but there were other choices like cereal and waffles as well as pastries and bagels. The seating area was pleasant and plentiful.

The Room Smelled like Mildew, The filter in the AC smelled as well, spider webs in the corner of the window, These were my only complaint Everything else about the hotel was Good!

Check in was fantastic!! Very helpful desk clerk gave ideas for a late dinner smiled and very personable.

Checkout was like we were bothering the young lady. No one was in the breakfast area… at 6;20 WE flipped the open sign. Breakfast was good but NoOne appeared at all! The room was very humid, our clothes even felt damp

This was our first time staying here; location is great, right off the interstate and minutes from food and shopping needs. The hotel is new and is quiet even though it was busy. I did not see the breakfast so no comments on that. Standard room like most hotels.

The bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned to what I expect. I carry sanitizing wipes with me so I just wiped everything down, but there was hair in the shower and on the floor. It might have been the cleaning persons hair, not sure.

Hotel was very quiet and convenient to get to. Also very close to 75 South on our trip to FL. Front desk night man was awesome! Very friendly and helpful!!

Breakfast was very sparsely stocked and no one around filling anything! Eggs were gone and meat was nearly gone. Front desk guy and were unfriendly and he was sitting in the breakfast area playing on his cell phone!!

I liked the location of the hotel. I liked that it is a newer property. I liked the continental breakfast. I liked the front desk staff. I like the cleanliness of my room and the hotel’s appearance. I liked the modern furniture that is on display. I liked that the room has a microwave & refrigerator.

I did not like the early check-in fee. I did not like the fact that when I booked, check-out time stated “12:00 PM”, but when I checked in there was a post-it note over the 12 (11). I did not like that the front desk attendant omitted to tell me this.

The location was good. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of towels and toiletries. Everything was clean and you could smell sanitizer/cleaning solution. The later check out time is very convenient for us late sleepers. The front desk gentleman was very nice and helpful.

It was very dark in our room when we pulled the curtains. We felt like a small night light in the bathroom might have been a nice touch.

The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room I was given was really nice and spacious, would definitely return.

Keycard ended up not working my next day and I had to go back downstairs to get help. The receptionist was really nice though and helped me.

Location and Price

The beds were not properly made and the linen was not clean in the 1st room I was given. It was a little better in the 2nd one (still some stains). For the price everything should have been cleaner. ALL Linen should be cleaned daily (including the top covers/comforters. Also, the sink knobs should be properly wiped down daily as well. Everything else was great including the staff.
