avid hotels - Macon North, an IHG Hotel

The place is basic but still nice. It is clean, comfortable and modern. The room is smaller than in Holiday Inn Express but we do not need a lot of space for a place to put our heads for the night.

Not a big deal but you can tell the construction company did not pay as much attention to detail as would like be in more expensive hotels. Grout not completely cleaned from the base boards in the bathroom, carpet on stairs in the stair well not as tight as could be but not a tripping hazard. These are purely asthetic details, did not affect cleanliness nor comfort in any way. Will definately stay here again.

This is a new hotel located on nice exit. The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and I slept great. The staff was polite and helpful. Some have given bad reviews for breakfast, but breakfast was what I expected. Since COVID, most hotels have gone to grab and go breakfast and that’s what was offered here - bagels, yogurt, cereal, juice, and hot breakfast sandwiches. I was very impressed with the complimentary coffee - brand new Bunn machines that grind and brew the coffee with one push of a button. The coffee actually had good flavor too. I would stay here again!

The location was great not far off the highway and quiet. It was very close to restaurants . We stopped after a long drive and like to get to a restaurant not too far from hotel. The coffee was excellent.

The room was very small and there wasn't much room between the bed and the TV. The minimal design with hooks and no closets was interesting but we could have used just a bit more space. There was nowhere to sit other than an office chair.

First time staying at this brand and will definitely stay again. Very modern and clean look, excellent customer service, good breakfast. Coffee, hot chocolate, water (still and sparkly) available in the lobby 24/7 is a nice touch. Thai particular one was also a very convenient location for travelers, close to the freeway.

I liked the updated look of the room and it’s amenities within my room.

My only complaint would be that might nightstand and phone had not been cleaned which made me question the cleanliness of other areas of the space even though they appeared to be clean.

We absolutely adored the staff, specifically Shaviz Adams! He was friendly and professional from booking to checkout. He made sure we were comfortable and really embodied customer-centric service. 10 gold stars for Shaviz!

It wasn’t the cleanest property. we did have to wipe down the furniture and clean the hangers as there were items left behind from the previous occupants.

Breakfast was great. Front desk clerk checking us in was fabulous. Sleep was comfortable. Decor was great.

As we opened door to enter room there were black scuff (dirty) marks on the floor. In the bathroom sink looked to be a couple of small curly hairs (I'll leave it at that) so I gagged my brains out brushing my teeth until I finally got a Kleenex & removed them.

We found the room to be smaller than expected, but it met our needs. The facility looked to be fairly new.

We reported t the front desk that upon our arrival we found a used cup on the floor and the trash in the bathroom had not been emptied. They apologized and corrected the problem.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were great. Makayla was excellent, going above and beyond when the microwave didn't work.

The only thing I didn't like was that there was no microwave in the room.

no chairs to set in with a table. The breakfast sandwich was not good and had no waffles for the kids. Actually no food except cereal for the kids. Milk was not cold it was warm no original creamer so I’m a diabetic and couldn’t have the creamer. Ended up going to McDonald’s
