Clarion Pointe McDonough

We did not eat breakfast at the hotel. We chose to get a very early start in traveling to next destination. Loved the walk-in shower. Had to get the handicap accessible room. Wish more hotels had walk-in showers in the rooms instead of tubs. Not all senior citizens feel safe getting in and out of a tub.

Booking.com did not send the reservation details to Clarion Inn. Therefore it was extremely nerve racking trying to solve the issue. Clarion Inn staff called Booking.com since I did not have the number. The Booking.com staff member did not understand the situation nor did he have a solution to the problem. Booking.com needs to hire more qualified staff to deal with issues like this

The hotel room was extremely clean and tidy. The staff at the front desk was very helpful, the remote needed new batteries and he supplied them and came and reprogrammed the TV. The morning staff be up and at it. they go around and knock and make sure you have everything you need before you even have to ask for anything. The area was extremely quiet, not alot of traffic at the hotel premises. Brightly lit at night which was a positive for me and my family bc we got back after dark.

It took while for the hot water to get up to par but once it did it was great.

The bed was super comfy! The rooms were nice! Smart TV! Very comfortable room! The staff was super nice! The lobby is welcoming!

The location is right next to the highway and we heard the traffic all night. Also the shower was super slick and I almost fell. Had to put a towel in the tub to avoid getting hurt. Continental was not very good. Typical of any other location, and minimal options.

Hotel was a great value for the area. Beds were comfortable and towels were clean. Some weird smells at times but I believe it was due to other guests and not the cleaning staff. Upgrades to the hotel were apparent and gave a sense of a nice hotel.

Some upgrades were cheaply done. Such as paint and caulking were not applied professionally. I feel that the floors in the rooms needed to be better vacuumed and mopped.

My room was phenomenally comfy and clean and I enjoyed my one night stay. I definitely am going to book more nights at this Clarion as this was a very good value. The breakfast was a bonus for me as I didn't expect to have it for me in the AM.

The exterior of the building is a little dated. The interior and the service made up for that in my opinion.

Everything! Location, easy friendly check in. Room was very clean.

The location was hard to fine because they are doing construction at a gas station next-door. It has nothing to do with the hotel. The instructions on the MapQuest gave us the wrong directions.

Loved the walk-in shower (handicap accessible). I wish more hotels would put in walk-in showers. Not everyone can use a tub. We are senior citizens and it is hard for us to get in and out of a tub.

Sofa was itchy....but not the motel's fault. I have skin allergies.

It was very good in terms of the choice items that were available

The breakfast time should be extended beyond the present time. The hotel should partner with a taxi service to make it more convenient for guests to make contact and move around.

The front desk person was amazing. Our TV didn't work and she personally came to the room within minutes to fix it. Very friendly and accommodating and extremely comfortable beds. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Hard to find entrance due to construction.

The location is absolutely perfect! We have stayed in other properties in this town and this was the best! The hotel manager/owner was so incredibly kind, even as we were loading our car he stopped by to ask how we liked his hotel, Clean, quiet, updated, comfortable, and so affordable!
