Dodge Peak Lodge

Nice room, pet friendly, sitting on the porch, jacuzzi tub, huge comfy bed, dinner in our room (because of dog) from hotel owner and chef was superb. Manager at our arrival was very nice and professional. Reasonably priced.

Some dog owners don't care and let their dogs soil area rugs. I think that went unnoticed before we arrived, but I put them away and pointed it out. I saw a for sale sign out front, I hope if it does change hands, I can find the chef again.

This is a little gem of a lodge with well appointed good sized room and comfortable beds. We stayed in the king cabin with jacuzzi and it was beyond our expectation. The breakfast spread was also better than what I expected when I read it was “grab and go” type. We arrived late and were sent clear instructions on how to access our room and had a contactless checkin. The lodge is a little out of town, in the middle of scenic Idaho countryside and close to hiking activities like Snow Creek and Myrtle Falls.

While the jacuzzi was clearly the highlight (note: not every room has one), the shower could use a better shower-head with multiple settings and a handheld option.

The location just south of Bonners Ferry was just fine. Nice view out one side to the mountains. Place was very well kept and everything functional as you would expect, say in Europe. Rooms were furnished with premium bedding which was also very clean and well made. It was clear that someone here cares about your experience and wants you to come back & get the word out. The dinner restaurant's food was simply amazing. Not on your life would you expect such excellently prepared food so far out of a large metro area. Portions were generous and perfectly cooked not to mention some interesting companion side dishes. Well worth the trip up to Bonner's Ferry just for dinner! I am very happy that the other locations in the town of BF were completely booked as may have missed this gem.

I cannot say I would have changed much.

Good location as a stopover from Seattle to Glacier National Park. Kim was a great person to have running the show. She saw that we received the extra linens needed for pull out sofa and extra towels. Also provided a bag of ice. We had a misunderstanding with booking.com as to number of beds. We worked with what was available. It was a very comfortable stay.

We stayed here on the first night of our American road trip and received the warmest welcome. The lodge was so nice and comfy, and we slept brilliantly. John was so helpful beforehand helping us sort our trip and letting us have a couple of bits delivered there for when we arrived. We were sorry to leave! Thank you so much for the welcome.

That we were only there for one night!!

Very clean and well appointed. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food in the Cafe is world class and I don't know how they stay in business at this price point. I have never enjoyed a better chicken fried steak (Schnitzel) anywhere ever. Also, they have the finest guard dog, Rita.

there is nothing bad I can say about this place. I have stayed more than once because it was so enjoyable.

The staff was warm and inviting, as if they were old neighbors that were so happy you came back for a visit. The place was close enough to town that it was easy to get there each night, but far enough away that it didn’t feel like you were in the middle of chaos.

We wish the restaurant would be open year round.

Clean, comfortable, really good shower pressure

Toilet pressure wasn't great, bath towels had a "wet dog" smell Never had the chance to try the restaurant bc they closed at 8pm. Lighting wasn't great throughout the room, more "romantic"/ dim. So all lights had to be on in an overall smaller room.

Really cute inn. I stayed in the main building (there are only 3 rooms in that part - the rest is motel-style). The restaurant was closed, which was fine. It was really quiet and I felt safe, especially being in the main area and being the only one there that night. I'm not sure if it would have been as quiet at had it been busier and the restaurant open. Breakfast were some grab and go items like bagels, muffins, yogurt, boiled eggs, and cereal. The room had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. The bed was comfortable, and the check-in lady was nice. The room was large. Right on edge of Bonner's Ferry, so close to town.

The sound of the highway was a little loud at night (I was closest to the road). Had problems with my credit card and booking's price with the inn, but I was able to get it resolved by calling Booking's customer service while checking in. I also couldn't get the wifi to work (Password didn't work) but I was too tired to ask/care too much! This all wouldn't deter me from staying here again!

The breakfast is self service but has many options and the coffee is good. The room was clean and the bed and bedding very comfortable. Fridge and microwave made it easy to eat in the room. Great Hotel Dog.

Our room was just off the lobby and the dining room and the service closet, so, a bit noisy at times. The only window had an A/C unit in it so the room had no outside view... a bit claustrophobic.
