Days Inn by Wyndham Sandpoint

I absolutely loved the spa, and the wooden furnishings, staff was very friendly and helpful. Also allowing my dog for our stay was absolutely appreciated!

In the shower above the shower head there is plaster like you’re trying to plug a leakkk!!! Water was coming out of the walll!!!! I work for mold remediation, and could smell the mold the minute I walked in to check in. It is an old building with spas there’s going to be mold no matter what! I would suggest to fix any leaks and replace the moldy drywall in affected areas. Also my dog found a dog bone from the previous people to stay under the tv stand! I’m glad I fought her chewing it because I don’t give her bones !

I thought the breakfast was good! Maybe some yogurt would be nice as I'm not a big waffle or bread fan. Eggs were nice even though they were powdered.

Beds could have used another blanket. I don't like to sleep with the heat on, to stuffy. Sheets were quite itchy, possibly due to the chemicals used for cleaning. Not soft and comfortable at all!! The hot tub was a joke. Jets weren't working, what was coming out was mor like water circulation and all that did was circulate the paint that was peeling off the bottom and benches. Needs a lot of work if they are going to advertise it as an amenity.

Managers were very nice. Breakfast was ok, more of a preference issue than an actual food issue. They had two cereals, yogurt (for half the time), waffles, microwave sausage & eggs (I prefer hard boiled eggs), toast & bagels. No muffins or pastries. Coffee was decent. The store & dollar tree across the street were very convenient. Had a nice sized refrigerator/freezer and a microwave.

Could use a face lift and AC was just like all motels: loud-quiet-loud-quiet, etc and it would never stay within 10 degrees of at any actual temperature. Had to adjust it every couple hours when I woke up sweating or freezing.

The attitude of the staff was accommodating, the property is attended to with great care, coffee and breakfast was delicious! The experience overall was incredibly enjoyable. The rooms are clean, the grounds are taken care of, and the personality of the desk clerk was jovial and wonderful. Would definitely stay here again!

This Inn is a great value in a perfect central location if you are passing through Sandpoint on the way to or from Canada! It had everything I needed and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to refresh and catch up on rest, before continuing on my road trip! I would definitely stay again if passing through!

The only thing I can think of is that the door was a little hard to open.

The cleanliness was amazing!!!! Friendly knotty pine comfort at its best. Close to the Mountain and the Beach and quiet, yet close to every need. Edgewater and Cedar Street are pricey but not near as quiet and clean. We are making it our getaway spot from now on.

Leaving

The staff and owners were amazing, incredible, lovely, worked so hard, understaffed, good, kind people, running everything on their own and doing an amazing job of it. Would recommend it to anyone! At first it seemed like we were far away from town, but then it became so close after all, the laundry & a great supermarket were across the street, most welcoming!!! Thank you - Doris

The guy, Jarrett (spelling?) was super helpful when we checked in. He helped to navigate some situation with the reservations that others may have not been willing to take the time to do. He was cheerful and happy through it all. Also glad for a really, full breakfast and not some to-go paper bag with a bottle of water and a granola bar in it for breakfast.

Really nice to have a lazy boy to relax. Nicely designed room. Comfortable bed, and breakfast was awesome...

Shower cutain didnt stop water from going to the floor.. 1st thing i always check and clean is the screens on the heater/AC unit...it was nasty dirty...

Breakfast was good. Omelets, sausage, waffles, cereals, fruit, etc.

Was overcharged 1 day. Manager said he didn't get an E-mail from booking.com that I had made a change in lengthkl of stayk. The change was made 2 months before travel.
