Best Western Joliet Inn & Suites

Location, very well lit parking lot. Room was very clean and comfortable and very nice size. The mini fridge was actually a bigger size and a separate freezer. I was able to keep everything in it without putting items in the ice bucket.

The room was clean and very nice. The only thing it seemed to have a smell of stale smoke. I don't know if someone had smoked in the room previously or if the room used to allow smoking. But, it did have that smell. But otherwise, it was very nice, clean, convenient location, and I felt safe and comfortable. The staff was very nice during check in and check out. I would definitely stay here again!

The property was very clean & secure.

The only thing we didn’t like about the property or our room was that there was a huge tear in the sheer curtain. There also was a faulty electrical outlet that did not hold a plug at all. I informed the front desk of these issues and was told that the motel was in the process of upgrading some of the rooms. They also offered to come and check out that outlet for us, but we were only in the room for two nights and we were going home the next day by the time I called about it. All in all, our stay was very comfortable.

Very clean, wonderful bed

Manager charged me extra $30 for early check in after I waited 3 hours already when he knew upon booking that I'd be needing an earlier check in and was never told of extra fee. Then said it was $20 but charged me $30. If that was the case he should've allowed me to check-in the 3 hours prior. I paid $30 to check-in 2.5 hours early. Then he charged me $100 incidentals fee and said it would take 3 weeks to get my money back on my card. Ridiculous!

The room was great. The hotel and room were very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.

I wasn't aware of the "Grab and go" breakfast when making my reservation. I booked this hotel because I had a big 9hr board exam that day, and I was relying on the full hotel breakfast to help me get through my exam. If I had known that no full breakfast was being offered, I may not have stayed at the hotel, because it was a big reason and filter I was using when searching for the right hotel to stay at. I had to end up ordering breakfast from a restaurant the night before and keeping it in the fridge overnight. It is something that definitely should be mentioned when making the reservation.

The choices of hot or cold was appreciated. Cold was my choice and to request items preferred. The staff was great about that. I injured myself on the property and was asked how I was doing when they saw me.

I was in my sister's room when a maid decided to let someone in the room. Fortunately I did know the person, but it happened without thought or questioning. Scary moment ! Dangerous and reckless decision. I really hope management will learn from this. My sister was furious and rightfully so.

The price was great ! The rooms were spotless, beds comfy, carpets clean. Room was big. Bathrooms so clean !!!! Covid breakfast was a choice of hot or cold bag. Either microwave sandwich with banana, blueberry oat bar and bottle of water. I think cold bag was with yogurt but I'm not sure.

No parking in the front, only few spaces on the side and the back. They do have an elevator, but when there is snow on the ground it just is a little hassle.

No alarm clock in my room. My window had permanent trapped condensation/seal was broken in it so I couldn’t look out. Eating area is very small and congested. The tv in my room had a lot of channels that didn’t come in well. The picture kept on pixelating.

at the moment under renovation. smell of paint, but that should be over soon.

The breakfast was poor. The location is very good to get everywhere.

In the morning I asked a young lady housekeeper to take my dirty towels n garbage then gave new towels, she accepted but when I returned to my room in the evening, nothing happened.

It was mostly good.

It would be nice if you guys added benches outside for smokers so we don't have to sit on the ground.
