Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Elkhart North, an IHG Hotel

I liked how the property was away from all the busy roads, it was quiet & safe. Everything was clean, well organized, check in & check out was so easy. The staff were very friendly & professional too. The breakfast they offered on Saturday & Sunday morning was great too. We even found coupons on one of the tables in the lobby area for Texas Roadhouse which was great. Overall this was, without a doubt one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. I would 100% stay there again, & I plan on staying there again this time next year, absolutely awesome.

I liked everything about this property.

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. I love how Holiday Inns set up their rooms for two travelers providing a stand for 2 small suitcases plus easily accessible hooks. A perfect place for a one-night stay or longer if you need it. I would stay again.

The room had this big empty space where it looked like that should have been a couch. There was a small corner chair pushed way in the corner. It would have been nice to have a small couch. Not a show stopper…just kind of weird. Also wish the small fridge had a small freezer to refreeze our ice packs.

Breakfast had good choices, especially, the bacon was excellent as well as the sweet roll. Nice size room. Beds were comfortable. Nice area for luggage and seating. Staff were excellent and accommodating.

Would be nice to have a soap dispenser instead of the lotion option in the shower. Very small sign to direct to hotel, since hotel was hidden by other hotels. Overall, a wonderful stay for our trip to Notre Dame football game!

Clean facility

Noisy bed . Squeaked everytime someone sat down on the bed Breakfast bar was empty when we were there at 7 am. No bacon, no egg omelette, bread slices were almost stale. Couldn't find an attendant to ask about more food. Very difficult to find the hotel . Almost like it was at a dead end. GPS wasn't able to give accurate directions (Google maps)

This property was exceptionally clean! The beds, pillows and sheets were clean. Even though it was completely booked, there was more than enough breakfast to accommodate everyone. Staff was exceptionally awesome! always very attentive & asking if everything was OK or if there was anything else that we needed. Hands-down I would stay there again anytime!!

I wish there were waters in the bedrooms. even if we were charged for them.

The beds were very comfortable and the room was so spacious. The gentleman that checked us in Friday night was so polite and helpful with any questions I had about the area and how to get places. The breakfast was also good. One of the better ones for sure in the last couple years. If we ever find ourselves in Elkhart again we will definitely be back.

Some of the staff that puts the breakfast out could have been friendly. They seemed irritated both days we were down there.

Very clean, nice comfortable bed and TV, quiet, nothing too loud inside or outside, staff was very nice and helpful, great place to spend a weekend. Good location, 10-15 minute drive to the center of the city with good restaurants and stores.

Only negative I can think of is the shower water pressure was just fine but that's pretty much expected for a hotel

The location and breakfast were to expectations as we planned where we needed to stay to be in a central location for our plans. The breakfast selections were back to normal - which made my spouse happy.

I did question the lack of mask-wearing guidance as the Delta Variant was increasing in the area over the weekend. When we first arrived the lobby was full of unmasked people congregating making it difficult to keep a distance and get to our room. Having stayed in two IHG properties in two other states over the summer, I had not experienced such a seemingly over relaxed atmosphere at the others. I realize management cannot always control guest behavior.

Once I found the hotel (it's a little way off the main drag and not well marked) I found it clean and comfortable. Breakfast was typical but hearty (biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, etc).

It's a little too discrete and signage is nonexistent. The staff left no impression (fine), and the lack of a hot tub was a little disappointing. The indoor pool is small and overchlorinated.

I was fortunate to stay at this location twice in one week. As soon as you pull up to the property you just know it is going to be a great place to be; the landscaping was stunning, with so many varieties of flowers, and so many beautiful colors of flowers are waiting to greet you. The bed was delightful, like sleeping on a cloud. Rooms were quiet and clean, and the TV welcomes you when you walk into the room. Staff was exceptional. Did not partake on breakfast because of time constraints and because I'm not normally a breakfast type of person. The location is perfect; right off Exit 92. This will be my go-to hotel when traveling across the states. Holiday Inn is doing it correctly.

The cleaning crew starts very early, so sleeping in is not really an option, but they cleaning crew is CLEANING. Not all hotels are adhering to strict cleaning policies, even while we are still in a pandemic, so while the staff may get an early start, one can take comfort in knowing that the entire building is being cleaned all day long.
