Hampton Inn Iowa City/Coralville

The staff was very accommodating. It was a nice clean modern place for us to stop for a night while traveling. We had our three young kids with and the loved the swimming pool! There is also a restaurant attached to the hotel and the prices were great! We got kids meals for the kids and it was cheaper then fast food with much more to offer at a better quality 👍

This did not bother us at all as we didn't plan on using it, but the hot tub is not able to be used currently.

The hotel staff was so friendly and made sure we were comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, the place was so clean also.

That we never got a key card but that wasn't their fault they were having computer issues. They had runners the entire time unlocking doors for people. They went out of their way for all of us.

Great location with easy access on and off the interstate. Excellent service and very clean.

The handicap parking is on a hill making it difficult to climb up to the entrance. And the beautiful sliding bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed.

The staff was very friendly. Really liked the new and updated look of the rooms! Excellent selection of hot breakfast items. Great coffee!

Took a little to get used to the noise of the traffic, but that's because we live out in the country, and we are not used to it. Once asleep we slept fantastic all night!

Staff was helpful. Apologized for construction inconveniences.Room was very clean and comfortable!

There was construction debris on the floor going into the pool. Made it hard to walk without slipping or tripping. Probably a construction crew problem, could have been easily swept or scraped up. Need a strip of yellow tape when walking from elevator to check in area. Almost tripped.

The location, cleanliness, and especially every employee was happy and professional.

The only thing we didn't like was the height of the toilet. Being seniors with bad knees and legs, it was difficult getting up being it was so low.

The desk clerk when we arrived was phenomenal, even though hotel was packed he made us feel like only guest, so helpful, great suggestions. After a long day of travel, so nice to have a delicious meal right at our hotel, restaurant was exceptional.

Size of room.

I was actually pleasantly surprised that the hotel had set up a shielded buffet with a masked server. It was nice to have the breakfast option. Most properties no longer have a breakfast option. We arrived late and at check-in, we received a recommendation for dinner that suited us perfectly.

Regarding the breakfast buffet, the only problem is having to return and ask for salt / pepper, water, coffee, juice. Although trays may add a bit more labor, perhaps that would make it easier to not have to return and cause additional contact.

Hotel is clean and staff are helpful and friendly. Conveniently located near Iowa City and UofIowa.

Rooms could use a little refresher. There were cracks in our walls and ceiling. Breakfast was nice and had a lot of variety, but ran out of items each morning.

Great breakfast with a helpful staff member keeping it supplied. Friendly front staff and interesting room design.

The room was very interesting with good design, perhaps a little musty, but not bad.
