MainStay Suites Coralville - Iowa City

The hotel seems to cater to workers which is great. Unfortunately, I asked to be placed in a quiet area in which I was not. Next door to my room was a person who was noisy and having loud sex bumping the walls. It was laughable. I wasn't able to sleep. I feel that special requests should at least be heard. The room overall was very good. I don't believe I will stay there again due to the noise especially when the men workers are getting up at 5- 7 am too much noise. Sorry I'm brutally honest.

The location for us was great for University Iowa graduation. The beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was good and fully stocked.

The only thing I would say is, I felt the whole hotel was a little dark maybe an update with a brighter color making it look more current. I would definitely stay there again though.

We stayed one night on our way to Maine. The location was great, and the staff was very friendly. The room was a decent size, clean, and pretty comfortable. Our large dog was with us and had lots of grassy space to walk.

My only wish was for more breakfast options. That being said, I was still able to have a waffle, juice, and coffee.

The room was clean and comfortable- and rather large to boot! The kitchen was very clean and seemed to have newer appliances. Beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was more updated than what I'm use to seeing on the road as often as we are. The full dinning table was awesome, as we didn't have to eat on the bed like animals! They did have a full breakfast, but we did not participate in it. Smelled good when we walked by though. It's near a lot of restaurants and a full mall, so plenty to do in the area.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The manager wwent above and beyond to make sure our stay was great ! I would recommend this hotel to anyone !

A suggestion to put room deodorizers in each room to keep them smelling fresh. The rooms were nice and very clean.

The facilities are nicely crisp, clean, and well kept up. All the rooms at this facility have kitchenettes with a fridge, stove, dishwasher, sink, pots and pans, full-size coffee maker, and microwave, paper towels. The hot breakfast was above average. The satellite TV had more channels than you could imagine. The only drawback I encountered was the side entrance. Our pass card sometimes would work in it, sometimes not. Other than that our stay was exceptionally nice. The staff was exceptionally nice and helpful.

The side entrance and the ability to enter were sometimes problematic.

I was on a long, cross-country drive. I stayed here both on my way west and on my return home. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms, which include kitchenette facilities, are well-kept, clean and comfortable.

No complaints.

The breakfast was excellent - tasty and fresh. The staff were outstanding; very helpful and friendly. The location was close to food, fuel and stores. The main attractions and downtown are not far away.

Need to check the heater in my room; it was very noisey. Otherwise, everything was wonderful. I would book again.

What a room, huge room at that, it has a whole mini kitchen with everything. Very clean and updated.

For such a huge room, it had like a 32” or 40” TV like a mile from the bed. The lady at the front desk talked after than an auctioneer, good thing I was running on all cylinders.

They gave us a discount for our dogs since they are small. They charged us for one instead of two. It was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The heating was a challenge to bring down yo a comfortable temperature for sleeping.
