Hyatt Place West Des Moines/Jordan Creek

A special thanks and appreciation for the excellent service/problem solving of the Reception/Concierge Team; when we noticed a flatt tire, the team supported my wife in getting the tire fixed for a mere 14USD .......where AVIS just let us down; no spare tire, no emergency inflation kit........and worst of all.......... landing in an extreme lineup.......only formality oriented......and after finally clarifying the situation......... no feedback, response, help......whatsoever……

The breakfast was awesome....out of some things but I'm sure eventually it was refilled. Location was good as we wanted to shop! Ample parking! Some cleaning touch ups could be done...sticky footstool. Picture in bathroom needed a good cleaning. Overall very clean!

Really didn't dislike anything. Rooms weren't super sound proof from hallway noise but not alot of motel rooms are.

Clean, trendy, spacious, great staff and very accommodating! The design of the rooms were absolutely perfect for space and flow of the space. The location is awesome too by all shopping and food ! Great breakfast too!

Not one thing it was great !!!! I told the staff I was so impressed by how they kept the facility up and the constant cleaning I saw was amazing ! It was spotless!!!

The rooms were amazing! Very clean, the bed and the couch was very comfortable. We were a little disappointed we missed breakfast. (The times didn't match up for us)

The breakfast times could be adjusted. We had to leave right when breakfast started as we we're there for the State Archery tournament at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.

A very friendly staff. The room was exceptionally clean and roomy. There is a stocked bar at the facility for those that would like to enjoy a favorite beverage. The breakfast had a nice variety of food despite the covid drawbacks. lobby and dining area were very clean. Dining, entertainment and more are at your reach within a few block radius. Will definitely stay again and recommend to others.

There is nothing about this place we didn't like.

Loved everything! And I would love it if someone could tell me what those sheets were made out of because they were so nice and soft and I have very sensitive skin. I also super appreciated the feather bed duvet! The high protein breakfast of properly cooked scrambled eggs, sausage, and hashbrowns also perfectly cooked was a huge plus. Paying only slightly more for the top floor and being put in a super quiet room was heavenly and very much needed after a good and so much straining day. All the employees were friendly, helpful, and wearing their masks!

This is very rare for me and I am a world traveller when there isn’t a pandemic going on… There is absolutely nothing that I can say that I didn’t like… And that hasn’t been the case even at some of the finest hotels in the world! As a matter fact one of my favourite hotels is the Hyatt Regency at union Square, San Francisco California, so I think we can see a winning trend here.

Fitness room was top notch. Air conditioning was not working in our room, found out after unpacking and kids sleeping... Management moved us to new room at 10pm and comped the 1st night room charges.

Moving rooms after kids were in bed. No hot tub.

Breakfast was great - grab & go, hot & cold options with good coffee. The pool area was nice with plenty of chairs and tables poolside. The gym was nice and I observed several people working out there. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was easy to find the hotel off I-35. I would book here again!

This is a very minor complaint, but our room didn’t have a door tag to alert housekeeping that we weren’t ready for them yet. (They were very nice when I answered the door to say we weren’t ready yet.)

This is our favorite hotel to stay at on the way out west. We stayed on the way to our destination and way back. The staff is always friendly, the rooms are clean. Fun restaurant across from the hotel.

No microwave in room but knew that when booking.

We liked the hotel as it was comfortable

Did not like the breakfast. Cooked Sausage in water to keep from drying out, dried out scrambled eggs, fruit looked like it had been out for a couple of days.
