SpringHill Suites Des Moines West

The king suite was perfect for me and my 2 boys. We hung out with family in the evenings comfortably. They really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast was perfect!

The bathroom was a little run down and older, however it was clean and usable.

I understand why with Covid restrictions we were given brown bag breakfasts. I appreciated being located at the end of the hall where there is less traffic.

The air conditioner in 205 needs maintenance - did not get cool at all. Per the brown bag breakfasts - during the weekdays the items were not very good and nothing we could heat up in the room and had no utensils. The breakfast was a little better on Saturday and Sunday with breakfast muffins we could eat up but still no utensils.

King suite room was nice and cozy. Was nice having a separate sitting area instead of sitting on the bed the entire time. Room appeared clean. Was great for the price. Perkins right next door, so didn't have to go far for dinner.

Nobody was ever at the front desk. I had to call the hotel to get someone so we could check in. Never received a receipt. Again when leaving, no one was at front desk. Didn't have time to stand around waiting and just left without receipt. No, I did not receive in email, either... Also, breakfast was just a prepackaged blueberry muffin. Plus your coffee or juice. Didn't even have a choice in different muffins. Just blueberry. Not good for a family with gluten sensitivity.

I often stay at this hotel when I am in the West Des Moines area. The hotel was clean, quiet, and safe. The front desk staff was helpful and good. I was frustrated that I accidentally clicked on a "book it" site instead of the direct hotel website. It cost me more money than if I would have simply used the regular website. The "book it" site looked like your website. I was unable to refund my money and make a regular reservation.

Breakfast was great. A waffle or Pancake option would have been great but the food that was there was great. The fresh fruit was amazing

Hallway smell was not the greatest.

breakfast is okay, the bed is comfortable, and the lighting is sufficient. I like to have a desk and sofa in a room.

no bath towels, the clock clock's bell rang at 5 am and non-stopped, the air conditoner is very noisy, the sofa bed is dirty and no sofa bed slip cover is available.

location was perfect literally it was quite the 4 nights that we stayed there definitely would book again!!!

i had no issue with this place, nor the staff. They were all pretty friendly and willing to answer my questions:)

The staff is incredibly nice (they watched over my bagpack after i checked out in the morning before my exam at the prometric center that lasted the whole day) and the rooms are great specially considering the price. It was close to the exam center and perfect for me! Would recommend to anybody needing to stay one night for work or for a fun weekend. The rooms are so comfy! Thank you staff at Spring Hill

Staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfast was good.

Hit tub was not working and we were really looking forward to that.
