Drury Inn & Suites Overland Park

The friendly and helpful staff. Hotel was clean. The free meals were a surprise; we had one dinner and it was good. Thank you.

Our room on second floor was a bit tired, and the bed had lost its firmness. Usually hotel beds boast that they are the best. I think your hotel is really used for groups, so it is WELL used and not necessarily respected by your clientele. Your common areas are nice, but the dining area could have been more attractive and appetizing. It is functional which maybe more practical, but wonder if you can have both.

We came to Overland Park for my son’s appointment at the Children’s Mercy Hospital. The property in itself was very clean and conveniently placed. Parking was great, even had a parking garage. There was free coffee 24/7 in the lobby, and free sodas and popcorn throughout the day. There was a good sized complementary breakfast and also complimentary dinner. It says “complimentary evening snacks”, but it was a full sized dinner menu, so that was phenomenal. I’ve never stayed at a hotel that offered so much complimentary stuff. Also, if you are a drinker, they offer 3 complimentary drinks to anyone of drinking age that is staying per night. There was a heated pool and also a hot tub that stayed open until 10pm, and there is a fitness center, too. You won’t regret staying here.

Wi-Fi was a bit slow

This was our first time at Drury Inn & Suites; it was recommended to us by our daughter, as it was close to her home. We loved the facilities! Staff in this hotel were extremely friendly; each and every person greeted us with a smile, asked how we were, and wished us a good day. A++++ for exceptional service! Our favorite items in the room were our beds!! SO COMFORTABLE!!! We were surprised to learn about the 2 free meals a day, in addition to the adult beverages. A nice surprise to have a real meal available twice a day vs eating out. We will certainly seek out Drury facilities again when on the road.

If there is one complaint (and it is petty), it is the coffee. My husband loves his coffee, and wished he'd brought his own. The coffee at Drury was labeled as "Bold"...we called it bitter. Very bitter.

The staff was friendly, accommodating, and efficient. It was so busy while my family stayed, and staff worked very hard to make sure all visitors were taken care of. The manager was there from very early to very late multiple days, assisting the team in every role from housekeeping to front desk. The facility was clean and welcoming. Overall, this was easily the best hotel stay we've ever had as a family. We will be back!

The only thing that was not awesome was simply just how many guests with little kids were staying in the hotel. Totally happenstance!

It was nice to have provided breakfast and happy hour food & drinks. The staff did the best they could to keep up with the crowds. Sadly, many people DID NOT bus their own tables and left huge messes for others to clean. NOT the fault of the staff! Just extremely inconsiderate patrons.

the sink in our room drained extremely slow. by the time the water got warm, the sink was full of water. Most likely no one ever told management about it. In my opinion the fridge could have been colder, not sure if that was possible though.

Room and bathroom was clean. Bedding was clean and matresses were in good shape and comfortable. Breakfast hot and good selection. Nice to see attendant cleaning off tables after guests left.

Directions to the entrance of the hotel off the street. Tried to go into the side door when parked and realized the main entrance was around the corner. Looks like you have to drive through the neighboring business to drive directly to the main lobby. Again no signage off of the main street.

Everything about our stay was convenient, clean, and accessible. All of the staff from the front desk to the kitchen to housekeeping were the most friendly and helpful people throughout our entire stay. We will definitely brag about your hotel and our stay.

It would have been helpful to have a brochure of nearby restaurants and activities in the room. Otherwise, we had no complaints.

Almost everything.

Check-in. Had to wait for the front desk person to finish discussing restaurants with other guests, which have resulted in long line behind us, and as the consequence we were rushed through check-in. Calling the next person over behind us while we were still at the counter trying to ask the question was ill mannered. It seemed like every window at the property were extremely drafty. Our room and dining area alike.

There is a lot to like about this Hotel. The location was excellent, the staff was amazing. It is an older hotel, but has undergone renovation and looks very nice. The full breakfast was really good, the kickback at night with adult beverages and dinner was a great perk for sure. The pool was clean and inviting and the hot tub was great as well. We will be back for sure.

The only complaint I have is the rooms are a little small, at least the suite we stayed in, compared to others, but that was minor at best.

The pool was nice, the breakfast and kick back food was good and having a covered parking garage was very nice.

The beds were not very comfortable and we had turned our keys into the drop box so we could not get out of the parking garage. There is a drop box there as well so hang onto your keys when you are leaving until after you leave the ramp.
